I’m probably too late but Raps is 18 and 1/2 as the series starts and Varian is 14. Considering that there is speculation on whether Varian is 15 or 16 by the end of the series, I’d say that she’s 20, maybe 20 and 1/2 at the end of the series.

Then there’s the wedding itself. I’ve been considering how long the planning would take and I’ve concluded it’s around another year (I’ve actually researched 18th Century weddings) making Raps 21 - 21 & 1/2 at her wedding. I’m assuming her hair doesn’t grow anymore, since the small brown strand she got when Gothel cut her hair stayed short.

I wouldn’t bring Varian along with me, personally. It’s clear that he doesn’t feel bad about any of his actions and would do everything again if it served his benefit. And it’s clear he would have no problems betraying Rapunzel and her friends. That’s not someone you would want to go on potentially life threatening adventures with you. Also he’s still kinda being a low-key jerk. Better to leave him at home than to drag him along under the threat of more prison time.

I liked the use of pascal this chapter. It seems like something that would happen in the show

Ah I see. Rudiger is the one who reveals Varian’s location by taking the pendant with him. I thought it might be that sympathetic guard who would, but nope. Pretty sure it’s gonna be Ruddiger on accident

Your writing is beautiful! I'm the kind of person who reads for fun as well as to improve my own abilities as an author. I like how you structure certain sentences so briefly, yet so full of imagery. In one sentence, you managed to describe a guard who was riding a horse while simultaneously glaring at the protagonists and beginning to speak to them without the sentence being so long and tiring like this one is! And I love it!
I see you haven't updated this story in a while, but I really enjoyed the read, as the plot and character drama kept me going past midnight. And I won't gripe about you leaving it at a cliffhanger, since I've done that too many times with my own fanfictions. So, kudos to you, and thanks for being an inspiration!

Rapunzel is probably 20 at her wedding. My reason for saying this is that her birthday came in the last episode of season 2 in the series. She would then be 19. Of the fact that it took them a year to get to the dark kingdom, i have to say that she is probably 20.
