I'm gonna guess that Infinite/ Tiangou is actually being controlled by the Phantom Ruby itself, which is in fact SENTIENT, and used Tiangou in both the past and the present for its own purpose of conquering their universe, just like every other universe that it's conquered, and will only let go of him once he's been defeated by Sash and Carol ALONE?

Hey great storytelling so for. I like how sonic, sash lilac and all the characters go on this amazing adventures every time Eggman or some new bad guy or girl makes feel like that all 3 of story's should've been made into games.

We haven’t heard from Sonic or Sash in like, 16 chapters. They’re in the title! How are they doing in Null space? I understand that other characters need moments to shine but it’s been a really long time since we’ve seen the main characters.
