Very nice start and intro to Musa to this story though I wonder how things will move forward from here. To be honest I understand the Brotherhood in this point of view to as in the X-Men Evolution Dimension most of the X-Men had pretty good lives with stable homes. Kurt lived with a tribe of gypses if I remember correctly after being lost by Raven, Rouge went on the run only to be found by her step mother shortly after, no reason given as to what happened to her birth parents. Jean's past was never explored fully and it is assumed to a level her powers did not awaken like they did in the comics but rather due to the phoenix, Scott lost his family in a tragic accident and was shortly (a month or two at most) found by Xavier in a mental hospital I think. Than it does not go on to explore what the other kids faced though I know they more likely had better lifes than before heck wolfbane was taken back to her family after Mutants were exposed where in cannon she was raised by Reverend Craig her biological dad who was a member of the Purifiers. Lets not even get into some of the more messed up histories even in this world such as Storm, and Wolverine's past. Out of all the teachers from the start only Xavier had a stable childhood.
