I'm just gonna say it...it may not be the longest fic, it may not be the most plot involved fic...but pound for pound, to paraphrase a certain changeling...

This is the greatest Flinx in the history of Flinx.

I'm not even kidding. You have managed to capture the personalities of the characters in such a way that my heart is warmed and yet I can still see their cores shining through, making their interactions here a natural progression from where they started to where they are here in this story.

It seems obvious to say since the story is about her, but Jinx is the best character in this whole thing. Some stories have her turn into just another good person, losing her unique "flavor" so to speak. Some stories have her stay nasty despite her new good guy status...

You don't have that problem. You could not have found a more perfect balance between Jinx's snarky, aggressive attitude and her sincere desire to become a better person. She IS a good girl, but she's still Jinx, and if you mess with her she'll make you pay for it, so you have to be gentle with her, without making it obvious she's being handled gently because she probably doesn't like being treated like she's fragile.

And the Flinx...omg the Flinx. I could see the Kid Flash through him easily, he has all the sass and laid back tone that comes with his established character, but once again seeing their relationship once it's progressed was just so wonderful. The tenderness, their comfort with being close to each other, Jinx turning into mush around him but still retaining just enough of her Jinxy-ness that she doesn't lose herself in the romantic bits. Just, this is the ideal way for them to be. Everything about this story is perfect IMO. Well done. Very well done.

This is awesome! Kid Flash and Jinx are such an interesting pairing, and I think you've really nailed their characterization here. Jinx is sarcastic and prickly and a bit of a loose cannon, but ultimately good at heart, and Kid Flash is as goofy and delightfully over the top as ever. I really like the idea of Jinx still having to face the consequences of her actions even in her new life, and I love how protective KF is of her and how much effort he puts into making sure she feels better. It's just so cute! Plus, their dialogue flows very well, and I liked how this story was funny, angsty, and heartfelt all at once! It may have been in your head since 2013, but in my opinion it was well worth the time it took to put it on paper. Nice job. :)

That was good stuff. Of course not everyone would casually let bygones be bygones with regard to Jinx's previous career of evil.

Oh my god this was perfect! Kid Flash is such a good boyfriend to Jinx, bless his heart. I’m so happy with how it ended and how protective he was over her! I was so mad when I was reading the flashback scene between The exchange with Jinx and the girl’s mother (I forgot how to spell her name and I really don’t want to spell it wrong lol forgive me). Your writing style is also amazing and the flow of this story was perfect!
