Interessing to see how Shinichi is one of us, haunted forever by the ghost of the life he would have lived if he had chose a different paths.

I've loved the positive conclusion we get at the end, especially since I've feared to read an AU dealing with the consequences of Shinichi's choice in a world where soccer had win over Sherlock Holmes.

That was really nice, I don't think I've ever read a fic where Shinichi choose to play soccer rather than being a detective, even if I can't help but think he could have been kind of both.
