Lol do you have something against shopkeepers? All the retail workers / salesman are described as bored (including the potions guy, the bookstore guy, the trunk girl, the telescope guy, and the knight bus driver). The only exception is Ollivander and Tom. I mean, seriously, retail workers - contrary to popular belief - do have souls and are not mindless drones. Vary it up a little man, add in some busy, cheerful, or grumpy demeanours to the endless mountain of boredom!

Please update! This is a great story!

I think the story started pretty good. Even though I didn't really notice any plot, it was very fun to read.
I have never read a fanfiction where Harry was friends with spiders, I really liked them. Len was interesting and Hedwig, of course, will always be amazing no matter what.
Only critic I have for this story is, the meeting with Snape was kind of dull and Snaoe didn't really seem to have his usual personality.
Anyway, I hope you are well and wish you luck and adventures in life.

Interesting start.

I don’t think that I like your story, especially all of Harry’s ‘friends’. They all have the same blandly cheerful ‘personality’ (if you can call it that) and contribute nothing to the story. And speaking of which, does this story even have a plot? All Harry seems to do is wander about, chattering to spiders about nothing. It’s like you couldn’t think of a plot so you’re filling the story with bland dialogue.

Please, make your story interesting. Ditch the spiders and have Harry do something interesting. Introduce some action, conflict, or drama. Anything, really. Even Harry’s interaction with Snape was dull. Spice it up.
