that was heavy; i like how you showed the oldest 3's darkside . . . at least when it cames to saving the lives of their family and friends; But dang! O.O

Speaking of their dad; I wonder if splinter had a few choice words for his oldest 3 - not just for revealing themselves to humans but causing them problems; even if it was to save Mikey's life ( have no doubt they were desperate and he's glad they saved Mikey, but Splinter probably wishes they handled the situation differently than threatening Emely and kidnapping Vic . . . at least to a point where they didn't make things worse.)

At least she's calm around Mikey; no doubt she and VIc have a long way to go before they can forgive Leo Raph and Don, but they know they never meant any real harm - but were desperate.

Argh this story just stressed me out! All the time I was like: "No no no, don't do that..." "Okay alright, yes, okay make him better- No wait no don't do that!" "AH why is everything going wrong don't ya hit the girl now Don, beha- Okay things are getting better again, okay deep breath."

So yeah, very stressful story indeed, but hey, only good stories make stressful stories. And I actually kind of liked feeling this way, because I can slightly better imagine how the turtles would've felt in the situation? Like, they didn't have a choice really, they needed to get Mikey to a real doctor or he'd be a goner. And because of that they were put in a situation that they've never been in before. They were like fish on dry land. And I sort of felt like that too, because I don't think I've ever read a fic in which the brothers went to a real doctor for an emergency. I just had no clue how you were all going to fix it in the end.

Luckily Em and her brother were the good guys, and all turned out well eventually. But yeah, I kinda had to calm myself down in the end.

What I really liked in this story was the Japanese. You seem to have been kind of gravitating towards that, haven't you? I like it. I'm actually teaching myself Japanese right now, on Duolingo. It's a very cool language, even though it's difficult. I think it brings another dimension into the turtle's lives. In my Linguistics classes we are taught language is a very important factor in culture, and since the guys already have several Japanese habits (especially the fighting and their weapons) it's cool to see you use the Japanese so frequently also. I really love it.

Also, I kind of noticed you like these moments in which the brothers have a sleep-over in the pit after something bad happened. You okay with me using that idea for a bit in a one-shot? Not sure if it's even going to exist yes or no, but I certainly want your permission for it before I use it. I promise you'll get credit :)

Loved the story yet again, really like how you can bring fresh new ideas onto this website, especially seeing as how big it already is!

Great job on the story, I loved it, but I do feel bad for the poor doctors who got scared shit less but it was for a good cause anyway keep up the great work and keep on writing .

I love how you approached this prompt. Its kinda of angering that they would treat the humans that way but its realistic. They'd have to be cautious. And i like how you wrote Emily so she didnt immediately accept them once she saw the predicament they were in. She was scared and willing to hurt mikey and fight her way out. And how she said no to donnie helping her. Thst was a good choice.
