I don't think the ending fit, exactly, but the story overall was rather nice. Very reminiscent of the First War from Fate/Prototype.

Just finished Binge Reading the entire fic in one whole sitting and I really love it! It's a pretty unique take on FSN and I really like Ayame and Arthur's relationship with each other. I can't wait to see more of Ayame in the future. Kind of thinking what will happen if Ayame is a summonable servant in FGO because she'll probably be pretty interesting especially considering her connection with the Fey Folk and the Reverse Side of the World. I do hope you can write more about Ayame as a character and I read your other side stories with Ayame in it, and those are a lot of fun!

With the long break in updates before the last sprint, I forgot a few of the plot points. Will have to reread at some point.

Well the ending is quite bittersweet. A lot of people died. Ayame never managed to save Illya either but at least she ended the war.

Well it is the end. And it was quite the journey.

While I quite liked the story for the most part, Rin being put down like a mad dog after essentially becoming one leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Nearly nobody survived, so it doesn't really feel like a victory, not even a pyrrhic one.

Wonder when Gilgamesh and Ayame will meet.

Man love this story. It is a rather sad ending but it fits. Goes to show there is no glory for who survives the grail wars.

Well, this is the end.

Finally Gilgamesh made his appearance and I see that he is focused on finding individuals with special skills and gifts these days.

Luvia ended up taking all the poses of the Tohsaka clan away, which would be a nice kick in the ass for any Rin Tohsaka.

And finally the rest of the conclusion, with Ayame accepting his new destiny as Black and White Magician and with Sella at his side. In this reality and in this timeline, the Einzbern, the Matou and the Tohsaka no longer exist and with them their ambition.

Well, this is the end.

I hope to see how Ayame will fare in her alternative story where she and Proto-Saber are helping Shirou and Arturia in the reality of Fate stay night and be careful with the cornonavirus too.
