Do a sequel

Wow, that Lumax was so Mileven that I almost reached out and hugged it.
Honestly, I like Lumax, but Mileven has such a special place in my heart. This one shot feels just like Mike bringing El into his basement at the beginning of Season 1.
I hope they gave you a good grade for this essay. ;)

this is a very good one-shot. However, I feel like you maybe able to do a lot more with this and make it a lot better. plus this is like one of the only fan fiction I've read that's lumax centric and I want to be able to read more Lumax centric stories. because although I love mileven literally one of the best couples in TV history, I strongly believe that this ship is so under appreciated. I mean think about it Lucas was willing to let his friends, especially Mike, new really really freaking mad at h all so he could tell Max the truth and be honest with her and showed her he cared about her. I mean they're one of the best couples in TV history too. The TV show has a lot good couples in it.

Well, its part of fickers languages, means 'one true pairing' which is in my case Mileven, that one pairing one loves above all. And 'notp means 'not otp' which is either a pairing you hate or simply one you dont prefer. But this story was actually very good.
Sorry it took me a couple of days, house makeover is taking a lot of me, especially since there's a baby being cooked.

Very well written, phieillydinyia! I loved the imagery of Lucas running through the wet gravel with puddles splashing beneath. Too freaky that step dad, if that's who it was in this AU was attacking her. Lucas was incredibly brave, but his worries about what she thought about his actions were also well played.
