Thoroughly enjoying this. I love the glimpses into Callen's past and the D'Artangnan reference what great! I hope that you give the explanation for and go into why Bartholomew hates Callen so much in The Game. Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

Great story, a snippet of time in G Callen's life. You should do a follow up story on Ed, good friends don't disappear without a reason.

This was such a touching chapter. It was wonderful to read how their relationship is developing and Callen realizing he can trust and depend on Hetty.

Such a warm home for Callen. Sure, there's Hetty, but Ed and his mother are so kind. What a boy needs to grow up and become a little less troublesome, right?

The reference to the 3 Musketeers is a great one too.

Oh poor Callen - meningititis! Glad Hetty was so on the ball and got the doctor to him quickly. Giggled when Callen was impressed with a home visit by the doctor but not so much with having to be in hospital. Even at an early age, you've captured Callen's character perfectly as with Hetty. Excellent follow up chapter. Are we going to see more of Bartholow and see first hand why he's so insanely jealous of Callen? Hope so. Well written my friend. Glad you've got back into writing :-)
