I really loved this story so much! I have gotten to the point to where I can almost ship Jace with anyone you do because you just write it in a way that makes it believable and I love that. I adore this and how Jace takes time to ask Raphael questions about everything to do with him, not just his sexuality but his life and what he likes and everything. And how Raphael does the same thing too, gets to actually know Jace for who he is unlike others in his past. And how after everything Jace has been through, he actually just wants to be shown that he matters, not with sex but with someone to talk to and hold him. Thanx so much for this! Bye!

I genuinely enjoyed this bit. Technically I enjoy every fic that you have with Jace being a cuddly teddy bear, but I liked how this story was so real. Most people want to be around others for stuff and then there are the real people that don't want anything from you.

Its a really good story, and i have been following you and your stories regularly coz i really like your style of writing, but this pair,although i like the idea of it, i cant really get behind it. and it has nothing to do with you or your story per se, just i cant ever imagine Jace 'without sex'! like of all the characters from TMI and TID included, if there is one character that I will always picture when someone says sex, it will be Jace Herondale! But then again, kudos for another amazingly written piece of brilliance :)

...you're right, it is your first take at asexuality. I actually find it odd- like, I don't find the pairing odd because you could write Jace and actual sushi together and I'd probably be like "seems legit", and I don't find asexuality odd because I get it. None of this is odd, nor should it be odd. But something about this strikes me as peculiar... Regardless, I truly did enjoy this story and this pairing, thank you for writing a 10x drabble!

Amazing as usual! Very well written. The characters blend so well together (in my opinion) and Jace getting all the platonic care is a great part. Your characterisation feels very organic and not out of place, which is saying something when the story is set in a place with the supernatural!

I want to praise you on your writing of Raphael, as it is quite obvious he is asexual. I want to say this because I, myself, am ace and it is incredibly rare that there is an ace character in this day and age of teen writing (that I have found). The way you wrote him is very true to a lot of ace people, myself included. A lot of us do feel quite weird with the notion of sex and prefer to have the platonic side of the relationship over the sexual. It was very refreshing to be able to read a story with a character and to be able to relate and go 'I feel what you are feeling'. So, I thank you for that!
