| Guest chapter 10 . 6/2/2018 Ahhhh. I see where this is going now. Offering up alternative explanations for things that the garden variety viewer has only seen from the other characters’ points of view and made assumptions about. A lot of these ideas I’ve never seen before-like the shadow monster being there from the beginning, the prank call being an actual prank call, Will being the one reaching through the wall. Exceedingly clever. It makes me even more curious-what IS Will’s connection here? The Upside Down and the things inhabiting it canonically respond differently to Will, but the detailing of that concept here brings that into a whole other ballpark. I’m soooo excited to see the rest of this story :D |

I’m assuming Dale will die which depresses me, but I love the idea of Will not being completely alone the whole time |

Got a bonus scare reading this chapter on a riverbank. Just as they realized what they were facing, a deer wandered behind me and snapped a branch. I about fell off the log. |
