Oh, I've been following this fic for some time on Ao3 - I'm really happy to see it posted on FFN! I freaking love this story and everything about it.

Really confirmed The tenth generation are all just puppets and Reborn is part of the conspiracy the elders will never share power with children.

I always consider Reborn's disregard of proper training and cheating as a failure. FAILURE. Reborn's status is vacation time. He is enjoying his vacation by triggering chaos. he didn't even make sure that Tsuna knows the language or history of the previous heads. I realized after reading a lot of fanfic and based on Future arc that he most likely is just a puppet.

I just hope to see the explanation... Many authors leave it to the end of the chapter and in the next chapter leave it as "It's explained"

Oh my. I expected something might happen eventually, the opening of there being a confused, repressed Tsuna in the back of Vito's head was too good to never use. I'm a little worried, now though. I have been waiting for a chance to smack Timoteo properly with how he screwed up (multiple times, at this point) ever since he mentioned the Seal being intended to interfere with the reincarnation memories. A little bit of me wanted Vito to snark or shout at him that "well good job there, you went and sealed whatever slivers weren't Vito instead" and/or "fuck that plan, I ended up drowning in my worst memories instead, thus the disappearing act!" though Vito was a bit preoccupied to figure that out or say it at the time.

I wonder. Is this a prelude to the new version of the Future Arc? The first disappearance being Vito without Tsuna following? I'm really curious, now.

Oh gods. Now I am imagining Kyoya harassing the Ninth for fights, and everyone who attempts to intercept either getting "bitten to death" or earning themselves their own violent stalker as he pesters them to fight again as soon as he recovers. I am intentionally butting into my own imagination and declaring this idea as only allowed to consider in settings where we get to boot the Ninth off the throne faster, so that Kyoya won't be dealing with getting killed on purpose by underlings protecting the Don when he hasn't any authority in Italy himself yet. For my sanity.
(The other option is pulling the Hibaris Are Legend card, in which Kyoya epitomizes his genetic ability to be utterly terrifying to a degree that keeps his collateral damages as high as he likes and his personal damages minimal to an impressive degree, even in a Mafia stronghold.)

Well if he was going to get a reincarnation-buddy, his bestie is a great one. That explains why Basil is so much more a proper Mobster this time 'round. Looks like Iemitsu and Nana will be right about them getting along after all, though I half-expect Iemitsu to regret it if he mishandles his reacquaintance with his son as badly as I except him to.

How unfortunate. I was looking forward to the chaos they would have caused, letting Vito grow up a Kozato.
