I love the harems fics and I'm interested more and more in Infinite Stratos for his harem side (but only Ichika, not when an oc or other Mc as Naruto replace him and steal his harem :s).
but I'm crying when I see in the comments so much Ichika is hated for his density worthy of a black hole.

the best and especially the WORST example is the Naruto x Infinite Stratos crossovers: No Ichika or Ichika x Houki and Naruto x Harem.

I say to myself why so much hatred? Ichika is a fictional character, damn it!
Are fanfictions not there to correct the flaws of the cannon?

eg: when he was a child, Ichika was kidnapped to pressure his sister. what would have happened if this kidnapping had taken a darker turn? Ichika being tortured leading a change in his personality? (I saw this in some fanfictions)

instead of blaming Ichika for his density, people would do better to blame the author, Ichika remaining his creation after all ...
