This is sweet. I like the relationship you built between Albus and Scorpius (they're pretty much one of the only next gen pairings I read), and it was nice to see an established relationship for a change.
I liked your characterisation of the pair of them as well.
Cavedon was a prat of the highest order - did not like him at all - but to make me dislike a character so intensely shows you're a talented writer.
For me personally, Moore was the star of this fic. I approve of her.

I love the opening to this. I don't know why, but I always end up with really strong feelings for food in fics? I'm just here like "but it's /lasagna/ why wouldn't you just eat it?" like I understand why you've done it and it does show his nerves well and everything, but it's /lasagna/ aka the food of the gods xD

Cavedon is an asshole and I hate him. So, good job on characterisation there. I loved that he was just a random employee rather than having an asshole boss (which happens, sure, but not every boss can be an asshole). I loved how the boss hated him just as much as Albus like yes, you go girl, you fire his ass for being an idiot.

Scorpius' line about accusing a malfoy of being a figment of Albus' imagination gives me life! And they're totally right. Narcissa would not hold back if she heard someone saying her grandson was imaginary. Honestly, with that and the line about the dip Scorpius was fully on point in this. It just reaffirmed why I love him so damn much.

And I just need to say my queer ass LOVES that you have scorbus as the main pairing and then a random mention of a f/f relationship too. Yes for the gays!

Aww, that was so cute! I really love AlbusScorpius, and while this really only felt borderline HP-verse (I thought it might be an AU at first and I wouldn't really have minded, because you didn't mention the magic until so far in, and even then it was pretty much just a footnote...) I really enjoyed reading it. Your writing style was lovely, and I really enjoyed your OCs. They could have been a little more fleshed out, but for your story they were just about perfect :)
But Scorpius and Albus being awkward at an office party was a great idea, and I loved it!

This was tooth-rottingly adorable. AlScor is like my next gen OTP, so I love reading about them. I fucking love shy!Scorpius. Like you have no idea how much, but I do, and it was here and it was perfect. And Albus convincing Scorpius to go to his office party was cute. (I am Scorpius; keep me far away from people). I am a bit curious as to how long they've been married.

Moore reminds me a lot of McGonagall, who is badass, so I definitely approve. Though, I would've liked a little more information about why Albus was trying to keep Scorpius away from Cavedon. With the mention that Albus talks about his work in depth with Scorpius, so a little mention of what was going on between Cavedon and Albus, beyond Cavedon thinking Albus made Scorpius up would've been nice.

But overall, this was really sweet and fluffy. Great job.

True confession, I don’t read a lot of next-gen. I read CC and thought they were a couple, so I’ll roll with this. The beginning amused me since Scorpius thought Albus had issues with the pasta. Funny how people can miss what’s bothering someone, right?

You wrote the party scene well, and it kept me engaged. I can see why Albus’s colleagues thought Scorpius didn’t exist. I liked that Albus wanted to keep his life private. You don’t have to share anything with your colleagues just because you work together.

Cavedon seems like a jerk, and I hope Ms. Moore fired him. I briefly thought Cavedon liked Albus and was upset once he found out Scorpius exists. Ms. Moore’s a boss witch, and I loved her nod to Narcissa (my favourite character).

You conveyed Scorpius’s awkwardness well. You could have added a bit more – maybe some internal thoughts of him not wanting to be there, etc. I did like that Ms. Moore’s shoes distracted him.

Great job on this relatable piece! We’ve all been there at an awkward party that we want to leave as soon as possible. Truthfully, it’s why I skip my work’s annual holiday party, which thankfully, isn't mandatory. I’m glad that Scorpius tried and that Albus won’t ask him to attend another party.

This is super cute and fluffy. I don't read much next gen, so i'm not sure how common socially awkward Scorpius is, but your portrayal feels original and you've developed him well. And your antagonist was interesting as well.

I liked the boss, Moore. She was highly entertaining as well.

I also think the concept of this, with everyone thinking Al's made up a husband, is super interesting.

The beginning with Scorpius's misunderstanding of what Al wanted was also something I enjoyed.

SPaG and pacing were good as well.

Overall, this is a super adorable and engaging fic. Well done!
