Love the story and I hope that you continue it. Just for insight, you have "bicycle" instead of "motorcycle" at that part of, "Harry recounted as he led them over to the lone bicycle in the parking lot." I had read that area a few times before I decided to add that to the comments.

I never watched The Heathers but with Mal being my favorite Descendants character, I don't think I'll continue reading this. If she's based on Heather Chandler, I know she'll die and Harry will make it look like a suicide...plus it implies she likes Uma and not Ben or Evie, and that's a big no-no for me. (Bal, Malvie, or Balvie are the only Mal ships I like)

I don't know if some of the lines you've taken from the musical (sadly I've only seen the movie) but everything seems so flow so smoothly together and I really could see Harry spiraling when he got really emotional towards the end. I'm assuming that you're going to stick to the basic ending of what happens at the end of Heathers in regards to these two but it's going to be so painful because I just want Harry and Uma to be happy! :'-(

I hope you don't take this as me telling you what to do with your fanfic or anything, but I wonder how much you plan on diverging from the story? For example, I loved that you kept Ursula as Uma's mom instead of giving her Veronica's domestic life, and I was kind of imagining how Harry's love for Uma seems, at least to me, even more obsessive than JD's for Veronica. And I was imagining Harry actually following Uma to the party (which, again, I'm not saying should happen and I'm not even saying is super in-character; it was just something I thought of). Basically, I love when the differences between the Descendants characters and the Heathers characters change the plot of the story. (And I'm not sure whether or not I already said how much I like your balance between Heathers movie canon and Heathers musical canon.) Mostly, though, I'm curious to know your thoughts on the Huma character dynamic versus the JDronica character dynamic.

I am so deeply excited by this AU. It's a combination of two things I love! And you do a great job of selecting which canon to integrate at what point.

Ugh, I love "Blue Eyes" in this chapter. So smooth. I do not blame Uma at all for her crush on him.

I think my favorite part about this chapter (other than Uma drooling over our favorite boy) was the fight scene. I thought you did a great job of balancing the description of the fight along with what Uma was feeling without making it awkward, too long, or unbelievable. It flowed very well. So major kudos to you!

Basically, I really loved the fight scene. I think you did a great job in writing it smoothly in a way that didn't feel like it was choppy or going on too long, as well as smoothly integrating what was going on with "Blue Eyes" with what Uma was feeling.

I'm glad you had a chance to update and I hope you're doing okay.
I really liked this chapter. Uma having a power struggle both with Mal and her conscience is wearing on her and wanting someone to save her is an interesting take on both Uma and Veronica. Yes, we see bot Veronice and Uma battle their Heathers in the movies, but there isn't as much insight on the personal struggle in their stories (having to do things they may not like for their own reasons).
I am very much looking forward to seeing how Ume reacts to her "knight in shining armor and also very nervous for Gil going to Chad's party.

Again, a fantastic job you've done with this chapter! I like how you established Evie and Uma's friendship early on! And the references from both Heathers and Descendants (the Candy Store references, "prissy pink princesses", and "if you wanna cross the bridge, you gotta pay the toll" were my personal favorites) were top notch yet again. I couldn't help but him "Candy Store" and imagine Mal, Evie, Audrey, Uma, and Gil in this exact scenario. I cant wait for Harry and Uma to meet, I'm squealing already! This was perfect, great job!
