The first thing I thought when they mentioned a mask was the Amaterasu uses in Okami to fool the demons… when you can put something like 'not a wolf' on it.

In this case, it could have been 'not a human'... or the red marks of Amaterasu form the game.

This is another wonderful story, that I completely love and would love to read more of. As this story is just as interesting as all of your other stories and just like them has me really eager to see exactly what you have planned next for this. Please keep it up and update when you can.
