CATCH ME CRYING AGAIN
I reread Some Sacrifices and just HAD to reread this one and I just... GOD, so many EMOTIONS. You’re breaking my HEART ran. That poor man. The both of them. Such a loving set of people, ripped away from the people who needed them, who loved them... both making terrible sacrifices in death, one for information and one for relief. They’re so wonderful and amazing, so beautiful, so proud...
I’m in love with roy (but, i mean, we already knew that) because there’s a point where he juggles with his decision. He LITERALLY dies, COMPLETES THEIR GOAL FOR THEM, and then SOMEHOW GOES “i should have done more!” Which is silly because in the way he drafted his will, all of his savings and everything he had was to go to them and their hospital bills, so they could JUST worry about healing.
God i love him so much i would die for him

I love this. Ugh, such emotion, angst, and love; it's great. I love the friendship between Maes and Roy. And I can totally see this reunion happening. Great job with this.

I just read this and I thought it was wonderfully done! Its sad that Roy ended up becoming sick to the point he died but at least it was a fitting way to go! At least get meat maes in the after life where he could continue to watch over his loved ones. Great job once again!

I nearly screamed when I saw both this and the third chapter to Some Sacrifices come out. Like bruh, what the heck!
So I did notice that at the part where it says “and the hard part, really, waswas spelled ‘hart’, but really that’s the only typo I noticed.
But seriously, holy Truth this story, oof this was unexpected and really awesome! HE DIRECTLY SAID HE LOVED THEM OH MY GOSH
