Endgame made me laugh at how thor had let himself go, but this really hits home. His grief is vast and unending. Thor is the last, and I appreciate how you portray that here.

This is so painful in a brilliant way. Infinity War really dealt Thor a poor hand. :( You capitalized his thoughts and feelings well here!

Beautifully written and really captures the enormous loss Thor endues

This is the big issue with the beginning of Infinity War. There may be Asgardians left, but that is not made clear at all from the massacre at the beginning of the movie, and it's difficult to see who could survive at the end with the ship destroyed. It does kind of shatter the entire point left at the end of Thor: Ragnorak.

Beautifully written story, though, and the title is absolutely perfect.

Wow. Just wow! This is so intense and beautiful but sad ... and with Sif almost arriving at the end but then dying too. So beautiful and so sad! I have no words!

I love the line about "Grief for Loki is almost the same feeling as hope."

This was a good fic, and heartbreaking...

Excellently done, but as a minor correction (and a bit of hope in Thor's sad life) it should be noted that there are apparently still a fair number of Asgardians left (though they are still a highly endangered species at this point). That is Thor states Thanos killed half of the Asgardians when he attacked their ship, and when one sees the ship you see it is only half of the ship. The other half presumably escaped or else Thor would say that Thanos killed them all. Thor still has a people, few as there may be of them.
