Oh boy I was just re reading parts of this and reminescing how good it is. I don't remember if I mentioned this in my past review, but I appreciate that you've basically written Team Rocket out of the story. It would have been so annoying to see it again I think, but having them chasing Misty on the side is hilarious.

Anyways. Just love this tale, what a great example of the divergent AU. Also, the inclusion of having Ash fight Giovanni already? Thats a new one. I really like it!

Also i wouldn't mind abra staying abra for the whole thing honestly i dont like abra evolutionary line that much... Too many spoons in my opinion

I appreciate this change of character instead of a somehow op pikachu we get a sarcastic abra thats basically ash's voice of reason also the way moves are more realistic is cool like how a pokemon can learn more than 4 moves, it has to learn the move instead of instantly knowing it and how they can actually improvise around the move and do something else all together. The fact that ash can talk to his pokemons and actually get a response (because of abra) only makes this cooler and wierd for the other characters imagine seeing ash just staring at his abra and just starting to laugh or talking to noone for seemingly no reason if you didint know about abra's telepathy then youd think he is insane

I really like this story! I love how you still stay true to Ash's character. He's not perfect, he makes dumb mistakes, but he's also learning from them. It's great! I like seeing characters develop, and it makes sense that Ash doesn't know everything yet.

The battle was well written, and I like how you take creative liberties with moves, but also don't stretch things into the realm of ridiculous/implausible. I like his team a lot so far, its definitely the most interesting and diverse. I can't wait to see who he catches next. And what his Eevee evolves into.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a different flying type this time around, like a Hoothoot or something. Anyways, great work, best Ash re-write I've read so far. It's the only one that provides reasonable context for his character growth other than 'Yeah Ash is super smart and old now because I said so and also he has a bunch of legendaries on his team'.

I'm very upset because this is another really good chapter and now I'm almost out of chapters to read. I really like the sweet moments between Ash and is pokemon, and I can't wait to see where this thing with Sneasel goes.

You probably hear this a lot, but I hope you do have the chance to continue writing this story eventually.

Oh, what a lovely chapter! Truthfully, I think I've been avoiding reading this, because it's actually so good. And once I finish, I won't have anything else like it.

Anyways, this is definitely one of my favorite chapters so far. I'm happy for Ash, winning a proper battle. I love his team so far. I like how you tied in more emotional and heartfelt moments, such as his little talk with Brock and then Abra asking about his dad.

The best part about all of this is how fresh and different it feels. I've read a whole lot of Ash re-write stuff, but this is the first that really feels right. And best of all, he's challenging the gyms in a different order!

I know you're working on The Road you Choose, but I hope you come back to this eventually.

This Ash is too much of an idiot for me to want to read this. What I read was good up until that battle. He wants to be a pokemon master, yet he didn't even study type advantage? This is also why i prefer older Ash fics.

I started reading this and stopped, then when I realized you were the same person who wrote 'The Road you Choose' I started again. I have to say, this is very good!

Ash isn't a randomly super smart kid for no reason, and he's not wildly out of character. He's actually very much in character, and this is definitely a caliber above pretty much every Ash rewrite so far. I was skeptical at first, but you've done a good job with this divergent AU, with him getting an Abra. I like his team so far, a Budew instead of Bulbasaur is an interesting change.

great chapter. Really looking forward too which evolution will be Ashs choice or if it will be one of the three friendship based. Don't be afraid to use Sylveon, it is a great pokemon no matter the gender. I also like that Ash won against Gary, and it wasn't OP territory with his Abra. :D
