Wow. Just wow. I have been looking for a fic like this. After re-watching those two episodes I just didn't feel satisfied. This was just perfect. I don't even know how to explain it with words, only that it was perfect. Thank you seriously so very much for writing this because it basically 'scratched that itch' I've been having since I've seen and re-watched (many times) those two episodes. Excellent job!

This is a great read!

These and Crystal Venom were my favorite episodes from season 1, and while I understand that visual media has to make hard decisions about what to include, I always figured more happened on Shiro and Lance's side of things. This is a great take on Shiro's POV in those eps!

Things I enjoyed! Um ... all of it? Haha. (: Okay, Shiro being defiant despite everything. That's always great! Giving us a moment sympathize with what Sendak may have been feeling when Haxus died. That moment when Shiro thinks "Where is Katie?" - ah! My favorite might be where he asked for medical care for Lance. Shiro's always honest about things he thinks are important, even with enemies and traitors, and that felt so right! Also loved the description of Keith and Pidge fighting so well together (I personally would love to see more of that type of thing in the show again)!

This is definitely one I'll reread (*cough* already have *cough*), so it's going into my favorites! :3

Man, I wish this happened. They weren’t very detailed with Shiro and Lances point of view in the episode. I’ve always loved redos of these scenes. Not exactly sure why, just do. This was fun to read! Nice job!

You can't possibly use the word "toy" in a fic, that is too cruel. Our Eurovision song has been playing in my head ever since Saturday night and it's also on tv now, save me) and now I can't stop imagining Lance and Shiro singing to Sendak "I'M NOT YOUR TOY, YOU STUPID BOY!" and doing the chicken dance. Aaahhhhhhh. (look it up, suffer with me. I'm kidding, I'm not really suffering, it's actually a really good song. Lol I'm tired)

Anywaaaay, those were some very nice whump scenes from my favorite episode(s)! I liked how Shiro was worried for Lance even though he didn't know him for long and kept thinking about how to protect him. Shangst is always a blessing and Shiro carrying Lance in the end was definitely the cherry on top. Blessed be the Shangst!

Oh my gersh! AMAZING, I love Shiro/Lance bonding with Lance whump interlaced! It's the best! (Though whump with the rest of the team is good too!). I very much enjoyed this, specifically since this is basically my favorite set of episodes! BWA HA! And now that I'm on break I can finish whats out of Voltron and then go binging what I've been holding off on to avoid (more) spoilers! :D
