This is fantastic! So many questions remain and the suspense in the writing is excellent, can't wait to read more:)

ASTRID?!

Ah ha! And final piece finally falls into place. And Stoick's words finally makes sense. Astrid was under a witness protection program or at least, something similar to it. It's no wonder she keeps asking her brother for updates on Hiccup, it's not for her, but for Astrid! But now it begs the question of why. What did she witness from Drago that she needed to go hiding? Or is it that Drag's just trying to use her to hurt Hiccup, which, in turn, would kill Stoick in the process?

And speaking of Drago, I like that both he and Stoick are metaphors of what both Snotlout and Hiccup would have ended up as if they continue to walk the path they're on.

Things just picked up right now with this chapter! The slow pace of the story was the same as The Last Of Us with the time skip after Joel's daughter was killed. I'm glad I stuck through both of them

This chapter gives a bunch of answers.
The final question that now remains for me is: What did she witness?

OhhhhhmygOD I KNEW IT, SHES IN A WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM!

(makes you wander what she saw that Drago is after her)
(and Stoick is apparently behind it)
(boi, Hiccup will be pissed)

Leave me with more questions? Nah, this just confirmed my suspicions. The only question it brought up is why would Drago bother to go after Astrid instead of the obvious target (Hiccup), and although Drago himself mostly answered that in this chapter, one would think he would need a special reason to not kidnap Hiccup to further his nefarious purposes.

I liked Drago's cloak, it was a nice nod to the second film. The way Stoick fought was right on for his character; why dodge when you can try to absorb the impact?

It was a good choice to place the reveal in this chapter; I think most of us had figured it out. :)

Nice job.

What was Stoick involved in that came to that confrontation in that old building? Unable to finish what he came to do, he now has to wait for when Drago strikes and strikes and strikes until either are dead or there's nothing left for Drago to burn of Stoick's...Next time, check your flashlight's batteries before you go to kill a madman in an old abandoned building...

And Astrid seems to be at the end of her rope as what she's done seems to ruined someone's plans...
