Three guesses as to what the commission was... and why it's been abandoned.
This could've been great without forcing Miss Badwitch into the story. But maybe I'm judging it too soon.

I got a god of war vibe with this chapter, and the time skips are good but it is alittle fast pace for one.

This is a one night stand kind of pairing that draws me in, as well as an introduction of a viking style axe, axes are missing in this fandom i tell ya

Going on hiatus? I don't say I understand or recommend it, especially given how this story has barely gottne starter, or, you know has much of any sense of where it wants to go.

And once again, I find myself agreeing with Zenith. Unless Volume 6 suddenly becomes an action-filled plot that explores locations, treats JNR like the main characters they are supposed to be, and doesn't give us poor character development and Ozzy's proper reckoning, than I can guarantee it'll be as bad Vol 5.

Great story the romance is nice too so far

What happens when you take the bumbling idiot, loved by his family and supported by them, into a cold and analytical prodigy whose family pushes him under pain of death to put his natural talents to their use?

Then you don't get Jaune Arc anymore.

I understand wanting to do proper planning for this story, but I’m disappointed it’s going on hiatus all the same. I’d recommend going more into what Jaune’s semblance is later, as I was unsure whether the yellow orb or icicles were Jaune’s doing or Winter’s. Finally, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for V6 to give you ideas or inspiration. Canon RWBY is a joke at this point, and listening to the writers/producers talk about V5 didn’t inspire confidence, as they sounded completely impotent with regards to good storytelling.

Why have Winter use heavy gear? She uses a rapier, and those require speed and precision. If she has heavy armor, she loses speed. I dunno, seems counterproductive.

Wouldn't winter wear lighter armor? In her fight with Qrow she moved and dodged and it seems like aura enhances psychical capabilities escpicially speed and jumping power so wouldn't it be best to take advantage of that?
