I can understand shock and worry, but why is he so upset that the neighboring king and his eldest daughter found out about a plot and found a way to ruin it? All I can see that he has to be mad about is that they didnt bring him in on the planning.

Before the chapter with Sunny finding out , I was thinking that maybe Bog would knock Marianne out of the way and get lovedusted instead and he would keep his eyes closed yelling for Roland to be grabbed , maybe Marianne knocks Roland out , and asks Marianne to help him get to his castle and into the dungeon to ask Sugarplum for the antidote. He opens his eyes and finds the potion hasn't effected him due to the fact he is genially in love with Marianne, though they might not know that at first.

Well that's one hell of a huge secret that's hes going to be keeping.

A week? The movie made it seem a bit longer than that. Like maybe a year. But spring is roughly about 3 months so a month or two could have passed
