Read through the story last night, and I have to tell you that I truly enjoy your characterization for Tony and Peter. I enjoy the play between them and the father/son dynamic. It seems accidental and natural in the MCU, and you’ve done a good job capturing here. Good job!
I also have to critic your scene to corporal punishment, and tell you THANK YOU. I don’t really have an issue with it at all; I enjoy the family aspects in fanfiction, so this, to me is just a natural part of it. That being said, I truly do not enjoy, and will refuse to read so many of the stories where it is portrayed because it is silly and unrealistic.
I have teenagers. I have wanted to throttle them. I have never, ever, ever in a bazillion years thought it appropriate to spank a kid/teenager like some authors portray in the majority of the fics that contain CP... so I usually will gloss over them.
This fic is pretty accurate and realistic in the dynamic between them.
I have tried to read the rewrite, where you’ve combined the two stories, and to be honest, it just annoys me. I will power through it, because I enjoy the Tony/Peter part of it, but Wanda just annoys you!

Iron man is the best character ever. He’s supposed to be cocky, sarcastic and funny.

But yes he has grown up becoming a father to Peter Parker and then later having a kid himself.

I found your story a few days ago and have been reading it and first and foremost, I think you have a wonderful talent. Thank you for sharing it with us. Second, I was honestly a bit surprised to find out you’re a man writing fanfic. Mostly come across women writing. It’s refreshing. Especially the way you handle writing Peter and Tony’s relationship. I went to read your bio and gotta say, you seem like a very genuine down to Earth guy. I can tell from your bio and the notes in your chapters that you are a great father but have your moments of doubt and aren’t perfect. I like that you write to clear your mind and work through what it’s like being a parent—and to 5 kids! Kudos to you, my friend. I’m mother to an almost 2 year old daughter and she keeps me on my toes all day, every day. As for the story, I think you’ve captured an adolescent boy perfectly. It’s always great to read stories where teens are in fact still kids and act as such. Too many times tv shows and movies show teens as mini adults and that’s just not the case. They still have fears and get scared, mess up, cry, throw tantrums...it’s refreshing to see a teen character act like a real-to-life teenager! Anyways, I hope this all makes sense. I’m super glad I found your story and plan to check out your other ones. Wish you well and hope you continue to share your talent whenever you can!

Wow, I love your idea! I have to say I have seen all of the MCU movies now, BUT I refuse to see Infinity War and I was really ticked at the Ant and Wasp Infinity War tie in. I agree with your Wanda opinion, it seems like she should be younger, but it never really says how long they were locked in their cages before Ultron. I always imagine her maybe a year or two older than Peter, and I can even stretch my imagination to early 20's if you consider their isolation would have a social impact and could cause her to act much younger in a social context. I also like having Pepper around because Tony needs Pepper to keep him grounded. It also creates a nice family dynamic that Peter does not have. He has May but he has never had to go up against the wrath of both parents, or enjoy the effect of playing one parent off the other that Teens so love. So, I am really looking forward to your new story!

Tony and Peter sure aren't making it easy on each other, heh.

That being said, I have the feeling that Tony shouldn't have agreed to Peter's bet because he will no doubt be as impressed as he will be annoyed.
