Caught up with this after finding out about it from your forum sig on Spacebattles as I was rereading Stupid Deaths.

I only have one complaint - the second White Fang fight was overlong, seemed to have contradictions about what happened in it between chapters, and was overall confusing to read.

Aside from that complaint, I'm mostly enjoying this. It's so goddamned *rare* to find well written New Vegas fic where the Courier isn't part of the Legion for some reason. Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen the appeal of the Legion as a faction if you're not doing a run that would make EclipsePhoenix uncomfortable.

This relationship between Winter and James is starting to confuse me a bit, but in a good way. I can't tell if they are just becoming friends or more than that. It really is an enigma. I will respect whatever decision you make, but I would love for James to get something for once, he deserves a respite from suffering and trauma. Hopefully Winter and the rest can bring him something like that? Either way, love the fic and great chapter like always.

What is the relationship between Winter and the Courier in this fic, it feels stronger than acquaintances, so either very strong friends or potential romance? I always loved how you put Jack as this war veteran with PTSD because it shows that even though he's a really overpowered character he's still wounded. Great chapter glad your back.

I'm just dreading when Walker will have to have the worlds most akward talk with Blake.

Great chapter, totally agree with you about James' development being more of a slow burn, as I tend to find the OP Courier trope rather dull and uninteresting. Your take on him being out of his element and past his prime is far more interesting, since he has to plan out his engagements more strategically.
