Wow! I've not read this for probably a year and I have to say finding the updates today was like coming home. Your writing is fantastic and your own case was riveting. I absolutely love that you mixed it and up and added the unexpected. Sherlock and Maxine figuring out their feelings is so sweet and realistic. I cannot wait to see what you write next!

This is such a wonderful and captivating story. I have procrastinated the best part of four days going over it. Your descriptions are fantastic, I'm loving the way you've introduced Max into the original story; you've really made your character come to life. The romance aspect is very tastefully done and, perhaps more importantly, is believable, considering how our favourite detective is. The original case you've introduced makes for a lovely break from the series and has really brought some more life to Max's character - now that she has let herself feel, I suppose? Long story short, what you've written is absolutely beautiful.

Ah poor Miyako! It would be interesting for Max to meet Miyako’s father and have him see how much she cared for her. If anything it would be interesting for Moriarty to be on the Yakuza’s Black list for killing his daughter.
