Yay, another chapter! I'm glad I stumbled over this story not long before you updated again, because I only had the previous update date to go off of for guessing when you might continue it. I'm so glad it's still going.

I was so curious how Kai was going to react to Lloyd, because HE'S HIS BROTHER! That must have been so heartbreaking for him to have to leave him behind — I know it was for me to watch, but Lloyd has to release the Serpentine. Although if it's possible to just leave Pythor where he is this time around... I don't know how much that would mess up. ;)

WOW, I just found your story. Really, I always liked stories where Kai was powerful and still a hothead. Perhaps later you can have Kai completely lose his temper and get knocked out by sensei wu. Also, what is spirit-fire? It keeps popping out in your chapter. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Ok so two things: I just found this and am so freaking glad and oh my lord. I'm speechless and very very interested in your plot. The way you were like (not a quote per say but) "a choked laugh (suppressed sob)" hurt a little too much..? Like you are bringing so much dimension to Kai's character in such a skillful way. This is amazing, I'm so glad this story is continuing. Question, what does FSM mean? Fate something, right? I love how you portray Kai. I believe this is truly what would happen if Kai was the one to sacrifice himself, he and the others have truly grown, even if they are still a little immature. And the way he protects Lloyd, the way he suffers from the memory of the past, of his past and not this new life. Thank you for this, this amazing story.
