What an emotional ride! Do you plan on picking this one up again? I'm so desperate for what happens next. I'd love to see Lily meet Remus.

I'm not sure if this is where you intended the story to finish or not, but in either case, I absolutely love it. I'd love to read more if there was any. The characters are all fantastic and I appreciate how much chemistry there is in every piece of dialogue between Lily and James. The amount of, I don't know if this is the right word, but, precision in the story is incredible, I'm just blown away. Whether you add more to it or not, I loved this story and it's definitely something I'm going to be coming back to and re-reading when I need my Jily fix ;P

I'll probably go back and reread this and do a more detailed review of all the bits that made me fall in love with this story, but for now let me just say that I think this is one of the most hilarious, adorable, and endearing stories ever. The characters were so wonderful, I wish real relationships could be filled with this much humor and wit. Life goals, I guess. The dialogue kept me smiling the whole time, even when James was being an arse. I stayed up all night to read it, in fact. I think you should both be writing for a major network.

Love your style, details, pacing, the way you drew me in and got me invested in these crazy lovebirds. I've written a few things myself, and this is exactly the type of feeling I want my writing to have some day. I am humbled and inspired and entertained and feeling so many warm fuzzy things right now.

A brief run through of emotions/reactions throughout this chapter: devastation, incredulity, telling WHY JAMES, DON’T JAMES, cheering drunk Lily on, gratitude for sensible Brian, amazement at Lily’s smarts, long suffering for James’s pace (but kind of getting it. He’s doing the best he can even if he’s awful at it)
Now looking forward to the reckoning of him trying to work his way into Mary’s good books. Will it happen? Can it happen?
I also realised I may have neglected to mention that I love how you wrote Snape into this story. Flatmate. Obsessive. In love with her. Totally inconsiderate of how she actually feels. It’s all very Snape in this fabulous AU world!

Its fanfics like this that make me fall so deeply in love with a fictional character that I have absolutely no interest in the men in the real world since none of them can ever hope to compare to James... sigh.

Aww noooo. This drama is masterful. I’m kind of proud of Lily for setting some boundaries.

I really like how you do James here. I love how he was happy at being called a friend (no nonsense about the friendzone). I like how he fessed up about knowing her from the play and watching her other stuff. And of course, I love his drama and oddness but overall niceness.
I also love how flirtatious Lily is! And the things that keep them from acting on their crushes which make sense (James’s lil back story was especially great).

I was smiling the whole way through, can't ask for a better compliment than that.
