This oneshot was just...bloody amazing. Just bloody amazing. I've read plenty of Qrow and Winter stories, either canon or AU but I've never read them as agents before but you sure as hell made me wish it was a thing coz this story just fit them way too perfectly. From how accurate you write their interactions to how well written the plot of this oneshot is. I also loved the snippets of flashbacks you put in their to give them a little background story to how their relationship was before they got together to afterwards. Of course, I also enjoyed the Ruby and Weiss appearance at the end and their little conversation on finding out. Again, also accurately written with how the conversation went. Seemed so like them. Overall, this oneshot for being 7k long, was really well written and I thoroughly enjoyed reading every word of it.

This is quite an AU, XD never thought you'd do that. tbh aside from maybe police au that's the best translation of who they are? Winter always can be in the military though but Qrow? Yeah agents is probs the best translation if we toss out things like Grimm and it's quite an exciting one too, the danger adds to the whole love story and Qrow and Winter are a bit like Mr and Mrs Smith. So good job there and it made me go awww couple of times. I do love this about my ships especially women in those ships threatening they'll revive or go to hell after their lover to kill them for getting killed, and what I love about your interpretation of Winter is that she doesn't leave people behind. I always thought she'd be like that and that come a mission together that'd be what gives Qrow a change of heart about her if not makes him fall for her right then and there.
