This is a very nice fic. I have to say, though, that from what you said about the Arca among huntsmen, the name would indeed be enough to guarantee a spot at any academy. Not purely due to reputation but because of consistency. Every Arc hunter has been of high quality, therefore any Arc seeking to attend an academy is ready for it, regardless of combat school or no combat school.

Sorry for the late review wasnt able to get around reading it. Anyway adorable fluff from these two though I am now sensing Yang intentionally flirting with Jaune just to tease the poor Snow Angel.

That last bit though is a bit ominous I cant help but think that Jaune maye be something of a death seeker and Weiss probably is one anchor to cling to living. That may be just my own interpretation though.

In my opinion you can't just make Jaune more mature and stronger for no reason at all.. you need to do it over time.. you need that add a chain of events that have him Mature In Different way., you can't just sell for make an event better version of Canon self.. or make him a Self insert that has Jaune's name

For example what he was closer to everyone that he befriended in Canon...

What if you made him and Pyhraa Closer In This Story... Only To Lose To Her Regardless.

Because let's be real here even a stronger version Jaune would not difference against Cinder Who Achived Full Powers Of The Fall Maiden... Jaune and Pyhraa At Best Can Probably do Nothing but Survive.. and that's only if she continues to toy with them... and kid and she was simply toying with Pyhraa.. The Fact The fact She Killed Opzin Who Is Powerful enough To Briefly Hold his own against her Shows The Wide Gap im Skill and Power between Cinder And the Hunters and Huntress in Training. Team Of Professional Hunters could Probably Take Down A Experienced Maiden... But Not team Of Rookies... I mean look at Qrow and Compare His Worth to a Team of Hunters in Trainers.

That is What i Respect.. just because you're the main protagonist does that mean you should be winning every battle cuz it's likely you'll come across the more seasoned adversary down the only other class you but you and your entire team due to that adversary being that much more experience and powerful
