A life without complications without girlfriends betraying their village in the future. It's not too much to ask for. I still don't understand why both Naruto and Sakura left though. I don't know if you revealed it or you haven't yet, but oh well.
Honestly, just have Sakura and Naruto be those people that are not really friends, but more like acquaintances. You see them around, you say hello, but you're not really close to them. Or like old exes. You dated them for a while, but things ended. If things end favorably, then you just move on. Yeah you might see them later on, but it's not big deal. You know?

I mean, those two betrayed their village for something that he literally solved in one emergency mission. They could've stayed. Like, bruh.

You do have to add some bittersweet feelings to it though. Don't let it just happen quietly. Kinda like how you did it with Naruto. He betrays the village for some ungodly reason and suddenly it's all good again? Like come on. Time might've passed, but damn. Either something went on behind the scenes or he's just that popular in the village.
