Reviews for A Possible Threat
BadReader chapter 1 . 3/24
Yeah, but you could do one of these for every episode of this show though, lmao.

Early Arrow and Flash seasons, minus the Iris pairing are really the only good episodes around.

I was actually enjoying this season up to that point.. Kara made me so mad when she threw her fit about Kryptonite. I mean, almost EVERYTHING can kill a human but you don't see us throwing a tantrum if somone has a knife in their kitchen. I almost couldn't finish that season ecause it made me so mad

Excellent story!

Batman's secret stash of kryptonite was what saved them in the Injustice timeline... and whatnot.

Nonetheless, the opposite is true as well, what if Batman, the D.E.O., Lena and whoever has the power to destroy kryptonians, is mincontrolled or forced to act against their will (say, by threatening their well-being)?

It happened during Myriad - people were controlled at will, and Kal and Kara were only lucky they were against dumb kryptonians. (They could've just ordered Lucy, Alex, and a lot of agents to don kryptonite suits - I know it happened in the series - and simply kill her... but no, they decided that Alex alone would do).

In Batman (Everybody Loves Ivy), it could've happened when Poison Ivy gained control over most of the human populace... had she wanted to destroy the Supers right away - she could've just ordered Superman to cover himself in Green K).

In the comics (the current Universe) Mister Bones becomes the director of the D.E.O., and he would do anything in his power to either control or get Supergirl out of his way (I don't remember his motivations, to be honest, but I don't doubt that he would've resorted to the use of Kryptonite to destroy her or to bring her to her knees).

So, I get why Kara would be disappointed and angry with Lena...

And I can also see why it's important that someone has a contingency plan to do away with any wayward kryptonian.

This scene should have been in the SUPERGIRL TV series.
It would have cut the unnecessary drama to a minimum.
THANK YOU.

Your story is good, but it's ending is quite brutal,in the episode it's based on I thought that they were both in the wrong and was disappointed when no resolution was found
Aragorn II Elessar chapter 1 . 8/14/2018
Very nice. Kara needed this. And Bruce being the one to tell her was even better. I can't blame Lena for having Kryptonite because of people like Astra, Non, Zod and Earth-X Supergirl.

She can be mind-controlled too. I think this was great and Bruce is right. If Kara can't accept this, she doesn't belong out there.

I was so angry at Kara, and it happens me a lot actually. Thank you this, your rica always make me feel better
OmniUIShaggyOverexaggerated chapter 1 . 7/2/2018
Kara was really a tick off in that episode. After all, her and Clark aren't the only Kryptonians around. There are those who want to do harm, so I can't blame Lena for having a whole stash of the otherworldly green rock. Batman raises a great point. And I remember when Lena said about Kara having a God complex. Which is true by the way. Thank you for pointing this out, Bl4ck.

I mean, I don’t really blame Lena either. But I sorta understand where Kara’s coming from. I’d be apprehensive about it if I was her, even though she did overreact a little bit.
