Wow. I reeeeeeeaaaaaaalllllly hope that the sequel is NOT Harry/Draco. In fact I hope that something terrible happens to both Draco and Astoria in the sequel, and that Harry either finds happiness with someone else or even just on his own. Harry was very out of character in this fic, his fierceness completely missing for some reason, so I hope that is explained and rectified in the sequel. Given Draco’s words and actions here I wouldn’t be surprised if it was due to him, some sort of emotional abuse/gaslighting situation. Can’t really say I enjoyed this, as it mostly inspired anger and incredulity from me, but I assume that was what you were going for.

This feels so cruel. I personally don't think I could forgive him for doing or saying any of that. Harry would have been better off without him altogether. Also you don't need to be in a romantic relationship at all to be happy.

No, it’s Draco who doesn’t know how to love. Everything he does in this story shows that. Which I guess isn’t that out of character for the spoiled selfish brat he is in canon. But Harry’s disgusting spinelessness is totally out of character. Even as a kid Harry never believed the Dursleys’ lies about him being “bad” - he knew damn well who the “bad” ones were, he was just stuck with them because of being a minor even though he hated it and tried to get out of the situation. And that was as a vulnerable naive CHILD! So an ADULT Harry suddenly being naive enough to buy this lying trash about his “inability to love” from someone like Draco, who he’s always KNOWN to be as spoiled and selfish as Dudley? “Inabililty to love”? That’s why he willingly walked to his death to save his friends and a bunch of strangers? Please. Do you think your readers haven’t read the books? Do you even know what love is? Because your Draco certainly doesn’t.

I respected you as an author but this story looks like it was written by someone who never read the books. The characters are just random people off the street slapped with the names Harry and Draco. What happened to you?

a very disappointing portrayal of all involved. Harry should never give in to a very shallow selfish Draco, but neither should he ever love him. All involved are distasteful.

well shit! I hope the sequel will be Harry/not-Draco, maybe Harry/Severus or smth. But what an asshole really! And now Harry is all broken for real!
