What a dirty deal. I love it. Riser makes a lot of sense now that I think about it, and it does seem reasonable that he's a little bitter about how he won the Rating Game but ended up losing anyways because of Lucifer meddling.

If Issei really wanted to be petty, which I'm assuming he rightfully does, he's going to go with the one Devil that would be of the most symbolic worth against Rias. A Devil who Rias couldn't beat and embarrassed herself against. A Devil who only Issei had been able to stop, at great sacrifice to himself, for her sake, for promises that she didn't keep.

It's totally going to be Riser, isn't it?

Kuroka, Tiamat... there are a few possibilities, and I'm pretty curious, but I'm not really sure how far along we are in whatever is left of the canon timeline to know for sure.

Though, I kind of feel like Akeno's either going to join Issei, or join Rias if Issei has enough of an upper hand that she's confident Rias will lose.

Akeno's the only one in canon who seems like she'd enjoy having Issei punish her, after all.

Come to think of it, I think Akeno gonna win no matter what the outcome.
