Oh my. This was not was I was expecting but you sure captured Temari's mean and controlling side and the effects it had on Shikamaru and even Shikadai. I suppose the beginning caught me by surprise mainly because the story was classified as a romance, but I imagine by immersing the story with strong characterizations, even negative ones, can be a good when building toward an end.

I did like that you got into Shikamaru's inner thoughts (not an easy task). My only suggestion might be formatting...to put spaces between alternate conversations as well as spacing between different thoughts.

Overall, very creative way to begin a romance story for these two. Thanks for sharing!
