| DragonFyre400 chapter 1 . 9/28/2015 This was sweet. :) I love little slice of life stories like this, and truly enjoyed the little vignette. If I had but one tiny thing to pick at, it would be the use of the words Ammë and Ada together. Ammë is the Quenyan word for mother, which would likely be what Galadriel would teach her daughter. Galadriel is Noldor, and the Noldor spoke mostly Quenyan. However, Ada, or the formal Adar, is Sindarin. The correct pairing for each language would be Ammë (formal Ammillë) and Atar (or formal Atarinya) or Nana (formal naneth) and Ada (formal Adar.) Now, being that Galadriel was a Noldo and Celeborn was a Sinda, it is entirely possible that you did this on purpose and my entire review was a rambling tangle of uselessness. :D Keep up the good work! For those who add stories to 'shame' lists: fuck 'em. Right in their tightly clenched little ass holes. You have every right to write a story that is just as you want it. This is fanfiction. If I wanted to read everything 100% canon, I'd read the fucking books. Don't listen to that knob. This was not perfect, but no story truly is. But it was enjoyable, and I think that's the most important thing about fanfiction. Have fun! |
