man I'm surprised to see a new chapter for this story, but I'm happy it's been updated. I can't wait to see Cynthia's reaction to what Giselle is trying to pull when she got so upset at misty. Giselle is doing even more and in my opinion somewhat succeeding. Can't wait to see the fall out of that

I wonder if the trade will cause tension between Ash and Rhydon seeing as it is more unruly and kinda forced him to catch Magneton, I hope there isn’t too much drama and that maybe Rhydon can become friends with Lairon in a similar way to Charmander and Bagon.

I cannot put into words how happy I am to see this story updated. I truly hope that Cynthia returns soon as I am not all that interested in Giselle and her storyline to be honest. Her ability also seems kind of strange it’s like a mix between some Jedi force ability like in fallen order and just straight being able to see someone’s past. While the writing style was noticeably different it was still an amazing chapter and I can’t wait for more.

So happy to see the story back up and running and with the new writing style on show. Planning another reread with ur back and in action. Seeing ash taking Mewtwo and the looming threat more seriously is exciting to look forward to.

Man, I've forgotten nearly everything about this story, but I'm glad to see it updated. Your writing has definitely improved from last time and I like that you're doing more to flesh out Ash's team. (Although I can't remember if you've talked from their perspective before.) I hope you continue this story because of how refreshingly AU it is. You've done so much to build the world up that it'd be a shame to waste it like that. Hopefully I can reread the story before the next update, if it's forthcoming. I hope you stay well during the world's current affairs and wish you good luck on your other stories.

I like the shift in direction for the story, as Ash is taking far more of a proactive stance to Mewtwo, rather than planning to meander in Kanto and collect badges. I'm excited to see where this goes

Wait so is a pokedex a super rare thing which only gym leaders, champions and the elite four get? Or is it so common that nurse joy doesn't care much and just uses the normal pokedex register check device?
