I love this one just as much as the last. The ending is so both hopeful and deeply sad. I love how this piece cycles around flowers, especially with how Sakura is a girl named after them and how we often offer flowers for the dead.

I love the insinuation that even after life, Sasuke is still there with her. I looked up Plumeria too to get a better understanding of the symbolism attached to that flower, and while it varies a bit from culture to culture, I find each meaning is beautifully positive and speaks to this piece in deeply touching ways.

I've been a big fan of your work for some time now and I just have to say how utterly impressed I am with your ability to write short, but deeply moving pieces.

I'm unfortunately deeply obsessed with angsty pieces and works that explore grief, but I rarely see them in this soft light. We can feel the mourning sitting with Sakura, and I think this was a lifelike portrayal of one of the ways loss hits people in an irreversible way. It's not explosive, it just sits with them, ever present in a deep, yet subtle way.

The last line on this piece really gutted me too, "there would only be time, taking Haruno Sakura further away from Uchiha Sasuke."

It just makes me think of how long Sakura spent missing Sasuke in their story, and how long she's going to be missing him again. It knocked me right in the chest, I wasn't prepared for it at all. Really brilliant piece, thank you so much for writing it, and even more for sharing it 3
