That's a nice story so far. Maisie was distraught by her good intentions that will result in consequences for the people in the mainland and Owen & Claire did all they can do to help relieve the worst of her pain. Also, you can tell both Owen and Claire want to make things work for them and Maisie.

don't know if you want to keep writing this or if it was just a one shot but darn good little story and I would definitely like to read more if you plan it.
