Great story! I started this a long time ago but moved away from sag stories for a while, happy I found the story again and that you finished it! Also really nice you included Evan in the "family", always liked his character and it's rare to find him in stories about Sheppard's crew, usually they seem to center around Lorne's crew and rarely mention his superior. Considering the few times the show showed them together it was obvious the deep respect Evan had for John and his team.

Reading your other story has led me to this one, and I just wanted to drop a line to say how much I enjoyed this one as well. Excellent hurt/comfort :) I enjoyed the interaction between Lorne and John, and the team too once they showed up to help! I do love it when Sheppard is trying so hard to be strong when everything's gone completely haywire!

Loved it. Hope you write more like it.

I absolutely loved this story. It was great to see what Sheppard meant to his family on Atlantis. For him to let go of the guilt he had for not saving Holland and the memorial for him had me in tears. I loved the bit at the end with the lion king sing along it was a great way to end a fantastic story.

Hi. I love Shepp stories...the more the better. This one had slipped through my fingers and now I found it. Long story short: I need more of this...keep writing like that. As you surely can read, I am no English native reader and do not unterstand every single phrase or idiom. But that would never keep mev away from fanfiction. The characters awesome. Evan has alaways been a wonderful 2iC, but you give him a dimension I appreciate.

This was awesome, you had me in tears with the tribute for Holland, the camaraderie is wonderful.
But I want to know about the villagers and are the were-lions all gone? And what about the treaty with the farmers? I keep wondering if they went back with a jumper to search for anymore of those things?

I had to stop reading, get a box of Kleenex, and then finish. It has been a long time since a story brought me to tears! Thank you for giving us this story. Looking forward to reading your next story!

Oh my, this was a wringer of a chapter. So much going on and resolved. But the clincher for me was the Puddle Jumper Missing Man fly by. Brought tears to my eye. So perfect and just what John truly needed. But ending it with the seriously wonderful joke of Lion King instead of The Ghost and the Darkness, simply BRILLIANT! It was a wild ride but so totally worth holding on to the very end.

Oh, that was nice. The first part where everyone let John know how important he is, the memorial service was perfect. Bringing the good memories back while getting rid of some of the bad stuff.
