ugh we were SO close to duel flirting. I love me some duel flirting. Mostly because it's usually awkward and funny, but sometimes it's also really cute :3 Even if I was denied duel flirting (*for now?*), its important that they open up to each other. Especially, kinda, in unquie situations they share. I mean I suppose the situation of comatosing someone may not be unheard of in Yori's lifestyle, but since hes been awake and with Yugi I dont imagine it's something many people can relate to.

When you think about it there doesnt appear at this point much that Yori can relate to Yugi so far. Compared to what we've been told so far about Yori, Yugi's upbringing is so sheltered. Which is proabably why she couldn't understand his overly helpful nature a few chapter back. I wonder if Yugi would have the same trouble understanding her habits. I'm sure he accepts them, but theres a line between accepting and understanding.

Huh. I wonder if she and Joey will share a deeper understanding, considering his history. Unless the season zero/manga cannon doesnt apply to this story

I REALLY LIKED THAT OKAY. Yami introductions are SO hard, so anything that's not, "hey just threw a man off a building but never mind that time to make gaga eyes uwu" is a win. But it's not just a base line win I really like how Yami helps her on equal ground, they interact, and she has no idea that hes not actually there. THAT LOOMING SENSE OF WTF I JUST REALLY LIKE.

DONT GET ME STARTED ON YUGI AND RYO. "Your stronger it's your life"

ITS SO NICE TO SEE PART OF THE THIEF IN BAKURA'S CHARACTERIZTION. EVEN THE CANNON IS SO BUSY GOING ZORK THAT IT FORGETS THE THIEF KING IS IN THERE. That was such a nice little detail and I love it.

Oof. I I have a growing desire to learn more about Yoris life. To find out what makes going for her switch the first instinct. And more clarity of the things shes involved in. Ya know, first chapter stuff. Eyebrow raising stuff.

Oh my gosh, I literally appreciate you SO much. I’m tested up because I get the whole morality thing. I’m Roman Catholic (Neocatecumenal Way) and as a writer or a reader, the content I enjoy usually is too gory or not aligned to what is right that I can’t share the story with many people I know. It’s kind of sad that the stories that make me so happy must stay within me because expressing them leads to others having a problem with me because of stories I read. I really agree with that advice, because stories should reflect the good AND bad in life. That’s what makes a good story!

I love the ice cream scene with Yami, definitely something he would do XD You do this thing where you offhandedly say a statement or phrase in your dialogue or description and then you rephrase it using the same syntax to make a powerful statement and I absolutely love it. The beginning with the first sketch of Yami vs Pandora and the parallelism with the things Pandora wasn't aware of was genius. Made my reader heart happy!

Thank you for answering my questions. I think writing what you know is something I would read but not write. It feels too much like a diary and I like making things up instead.
