I am here for the rewrite of year 1 for Harry! His outlook on life and wanting to better himself is inspiring and something I wish JK had wanted for him too! Your story rocks!

Hey. I'm not a big fan of fem!Harry stories, but this one really resonates with me. It would be a breathtaking character study if Harry wasn't so different from canon. As it stands, it's a very interesting piece of writing with some rare ideas and changes to well-known personalities. I really like this Harry's perception of his upbringing and the personality he grew into. Can't wait to see where this goes, if you have any grand plans at all or if this is just a slice-of-life kind of thing focused on exploring Harry and his mentor.

OK, Harry WAS seriously mentally abused. Minerva even described his abuse, all while saying it wasn't serious abuse? Really?! And why so much emphasis on "weird and morbid" magic?

That Snape stuff and the instant turn around on his part just doesn't work. If that's how you see his character alright. But it just feels like character bashing on James Potter who was a hero.

I like this story and I was really enjoying it up until the James Potter stuff. Literally you say Snape and his Mother ended up on different sides of the War and then you have her encourage him to go talk to this man who was a on a different side of a War from her. Tell him negative things about his father while trying to make Severous Snape sympathetic. You had a conversation that should of been about Harry being able to find positive things about himself go from being about him to the woes of a ex-terrorist and House full of people who may and in reality want him dead.

It was jarring to say the least, I'm gonna go forward but I'm hesitant because of that Snape creep that I'm feeling where he gets whitewashed and is suddenly not a bigoted bully.

I just hope that Harry won't become a carbon copy of Minerva. I hope he will not become the same kid he was in canon but just a bit smarter. I hope there will be story beyond overcoming childhood trauma. I hope he will not stop stop growing after Minerva is done with him. I hope he will do what is in his interest rather than what is expected od him. And I'd hate to see this story abandoned. It's a great story about growing up as a person and as a wizard(so far at least). Please, do not let this story die.
