I Bet the Only thing that could Stop him is the ANTITHESIS of Magic itself. . . aka Asta's Anti-Magic. . .

Well, I see that Shard meet Asta and Yuno once more where they had some bro moments as the Brown Wolves, Black Bulls and Golden Dawn are going to investigate the dungeon together as a joint mission which was assigned to them by Wizard King Julius Novachrona. Of course Shard gets to meet Noelle Silva, Luck Voltia, Mimosa Vermillion and Klaus Lunettes as fellow Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom. Unsurprisingly, Klaus was prejudiced towards Shard, Asta and also Yuno for being commoners due to his noble background and especially Natsu for being part of the most destructive Magic Knight squad equal with the Black Bulls.

Of course, Klaus is a man of reason as he is still able to judge and give his acknowledgement based on what he sees with his own eyes. After the members of three Magic Knight squads escaped the collapsing dungeon, no doubt he will acknowledge Shard, Asta and Yuno after witnessing their efforts and talents while completing the dungeon exploring mission, and apologize for his behavior towards them. Later on, Klaus will take physical training exercises and emulate the three as best as he can, which he ended up got stronger in body, mind and Magic as a result by the time the Royal Knights Selection Exam was held. Perhaps Mimosa should try that too as well with Shard helping her and improve her Plant Magic's offensive and healing abilities which it will be worth it for her and she also do it to flip a bird at her older brother Kirsch who finds Asta's body ugly for having muscles because he feels that beauty is leaving one's body in its natural state.

It was amusing to see Klaus be surprised when he learns that Dragon Slayer senses allows Shard to find the treasure vault without need of a map like they do, and it must be an interesting food for thought after hearing that Shard is a unique kind of Dragon Slayer that consumes Magic which in his mind could make Shard a very formidable Magic Knight where any opponent who tries to fire their spells at him, he eats them for replenishment and increasing his Magic power much to their shock and horror before kicking their asses.

On the other hand, I do like how Shard and Mimosa interact which I can see a ship between. That is quite wholesome. It will take time to develop and blown on the long run. They just met and are teaming up to explore the dungeon. I can imagine the reaction of her fellow Golden Dawn members especially her older brother Kirsch Vermillion, the Vice-Captain of the Coral Peacock when they see her and Shard being intimately close with each other, a noble dating a commoner. Such heresy to them, lol. That won't stop Shard and Mimosa of course. 0_0

Damn, looks like Natsu made first encounter with Evanora Chandler a.k.a. the Wicked Witch of the East from the Old Generation of the Eight Shining Generals in Diamond Kingdom. She tries to attack the Fire Dragon Slayer with her Acid Magic that melts down foes until there's nothing left upon him but thanks to his Dragon Slayer senses, he heard it coming from the moving pages of Evanora's Grimoire and dodged it on time.

Of course that blindsided Natsu to get suddenly ambushed hard and fast by Gaius from the New Generation of the Eight Shining Generals who possess Muscle Magic that enhances his already formidable physical strength of his body which has undergone Diamond Kingdom reconstructive surgery like most of his fellow New Generation like Mars and Ladros.

Then we see quite a heavy tension between Evanora and Gaius due to the New Generation who look down on the Old Generation as outdated veterans that needed to be replaced eventually while the Old Generation sees the New Generation as overconfident rookies with new abilities granted to them by Morris, the Magic Scholar who controls Diamond Kingdom through the ailing king and created them in the first place. And that the Wicked Witch of the East is there to keep Gaius and Mars on line during a dungeon exploration mission and ensure that they don't get themselves killed due to their recklessness and overconfidence as a New Generation in their fight against the members of 3 Magic Knight squads.

At least Gaius knows when not to push his luck and simply searched for new enemies to fight and pulverize instead of picking a fight with Evanora who can melt him with her Acid Magic if he steps out of the line. He has brains and brawn to an extent after all.

On the other hand, we have Lotus fighting and later outsmarting Luck in his Lightning Creation Magic armaments with strategy he pulled off with his Smoke Magic where he mentioned his wife Evanora got really mad at Yami who gave him a scar on the chest and fought off the Wicked Witch of the East to a stand still back in the Clover-Diamond War. She really does love Lotus and they have 3 witch daughters they raise and work to support the family and also preserve the livelihood of their citizens of Diamond Kingdom.

It will be hilarious when Yami actually does recognize Lotus unlike in the canon when they meet again during the Invasion of Kiten, and it would be pretty wholesome if we see Evanora and Lotus return home to have famiy time with their 3 daughters whom you can base it on the 3 little witch girls from Black Clover anime episode 139 which is perfect. XD

It is quite heartwarming to see Evanora hope her husband won't end up killed or else she will beat him back to life, while Lotus hope that his wife will keep the two New Generation members in line and show them the meaning of team player. They make a great dynamic duo that Wizard King Julius acknowledged them when his spies inform him about Hel Lotus and Wicked Witch of the East leading the mission to explore the dungeon and will encounter three groups of Brown Wolves, Black Bulls and Golden Dawn which he is confident that they can handle opponents from Diamond Kingdom.

On the other hand, Shard have encountered Mars face to face when he was about to open the treasure fault he found in the dungeon and they have quite a destructive fight inside the dungeon. Fighting Mars who possess Crystal Magic and Fire Magic at the same time on his stitched Grimoire is not gonna be easy for anyone but since Shard is a Black Dragon Slayer, he can handle it and managed to beat him in the end. I like this fight scene better than Asta vs Mars (which was awesome in its own right too as well admittedly) in the canon especially Shard's new spell "Dragon King Heavy Armor" he uses which got me excited when reading it.

After all this is Shard's moment to shine as member of the Brown Wolves who kicked a New Generation General's ass by himself, knocking him out as the victor but ended up suffering wounds from the battle as a result.

Good thing Mimosa is there to use her Plant Healing Magic to fix Shard's wounds, and Shard thanked her with a heartwarming compliment and a wink which made her blush which she would soon grow feelings for him. Meanwhile, Klaus had Mars restrained with Steel Magic but sadly the latter managed to break free and recover back on his feet with his Fire Healing Magic almost immediately.

Looks like Shard, Asta, Yuno, Klaus, Luck, Noelle and Mimosa have faced three of the Eight Shining Generals (one Old Generation and two New Generation) gathering together. Noelle has been wounded and needed to be treated by Mimosa's Plant Healing Magic while Natsu made a surprise attack on Gaius, proving the latter wrong of his boast in defeating the son of Igneel and reassuring his fellow Magic Knights that he is still alive and all fired up now.

At the end of the chapter, Natsu will take on Gaius properly; Shard, Yuno and Asta fight Mars as three brothers; and Luck and Klaus confront Evanora together despite their differences as commoner and noble. It's gonna be Round Two within the dungeon which will cause lots of magical explosions and massive destruction inside.

I hope that Noelle will recover on time and help out their fellow Magic Knights alongside Mimosa together. It's all hands on deck.

While I have a familiar feeling that Lotus will take advantage of this all-out battle between powerful mages of Clover and Diamond Kingdoms by looting all of the dungeon's treasury undetected and also getting the unconscious Diamond Kingdom soldiers away.

Just ignore chaosshadow19 with his spamming "reviews". He's just an overly-obnoxiously toxic Fairy Tail purist fanboy who acts like spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum at any story he perceives as "bashing" in his narrow tunnel vision. Suicides his body against the enemy for a last showdown because hell, that's the kind of character everyone can relate to: a selfless human being that perseveres until the end even though his limbs are useless.

Random enemy: "Ouch... that hurts... stop it... wow... amazing... fuck this is stupid. Who wrote this Shit? I have the power to destroy the fucking city/world and yet here I am, getting killed buy this buff 12 year old who can't even cast a simple fire spell to heat up his pasta... Awesome logic... Owwww. BBLEH" dies (or doesnt)

Looks like Gajeel and Pantherlily are here to help Shard fight off the members of Diabolos and they have fought both Kiria and Skullion respectively while Shard continues to fight Rider in their duel between Dragon Slayers of Magic/Black and Metal. It is good to see Gajeel use his Iron Shadow Dragon Mode against Kiria to counter her Blade Dragon Slayer Magic that cuts into apparently almost anything Pantherlily used the wind attacks caused by the slashes of his Musica Sword against Skullion after figuring out his Corpse Dragon Slayer Magic's weakness to wind.

Thank you for using my idea of Rider's backstory of how he got the abilities of Edolas Dorma Anim through being remade into a Machias Cyborg by the Giltena Magic Council, how he lost his Dragon father and how he came to be a member of Diabolos too as well. We even get to see Rider use Metal Dragon Slayer Magic in action against Shard too as well and that's pretty awesome especially when used in conjunction with Machias Cyborg body.

The Giltena Magic Council have truly created a cyborg monster out of Rider and if he did not become a Dragon Eater, Rider would have been classified as a 4th Generation Dragon Slayer - a far better version than the Quartum Army who are composed of black armored knights with the purpose of being Zash Caine's army and formidable fodder to the Mages of Fairy Tail from Fairy Tail Dragon Cry movie.

Last but not least, Madmole finally appears and protects Rider from Dragon Force Shard's attack with his Armor Dragon Slayer Magic. Truly a formidable foe and that I can see Madmole being the guy partnered with Kiria who cannot cut his defense as a foil and he is the big bro to Rider looking out for the Machias Cyborg Dragon Slayer.

I hope that we get to see Diabolos again after they make their tactical withdrawal and will probably ally themselves with the Eye of Midnight Sun, Diamond Kingdom or even Spade Kingdom for all we know so that they can get another chance of slaying and consuming the Dragon Slayers for more power in the future.

Well, it appears the child Rider held hostage was Julius Novachrona the Wizard King himself all along in a disguise and he holds great interest in Shard as a Dragon Slayer with a unique element that does not restrict to one attribute before giving the Brown Wolves another star for protecting Ishmalt town and help clean up the mess left behind from the battle with Diabolos that puts their Magic Knight squad above the Silver Eagles who might be kinda salty about it if you know what I mean, lol.

And then Shard and Natsu of the Brown Wolves are assigned to a mission to explore the dungeon nearby Diamond Kingdom and have met up Asta, Noelle and Luck of the Black Bulls, and Yuno, Mimosa and Klaus of the Golden Dawn in the dungeon where they will encounter Mars of the Eight Shining Generals from Diamond Kingdom very soon. Can't wait to see how the members of three respective Magic Knight squads interact with each other and work together in beating Mars and succeed in acquiring the treasure within the dungeon at the same time too as well.

Anyways, cool chapter as always and looking forward for the next update. :)

Well, it's not a bad story about Shard Lazuli who is the son of Acnologia and Lapis, which is a shame his mother died and would like to see more of her after seeing how she managed to escape to Clover Kingdom thanks to Doranbolt of the Magic Council who is helpful and empathetic for her plight and desire to see her son live his own life without Acnologia's stigma. Then again, it's pretty cliche about main characters losing their parents as plot devices. At least Lapis gets to spend some time with her son Shard and loves him before she died. Back to topic, at least Shard gets along with Asta and Yuno, and the three young men share the same dream of who will get to become the next Wizard King in Clover Kingdom.

Do you think it would be cool if Sister Lily actually accepted Asta's offer and follow him to the Clover Kingdom capital? It's a shame she did not get much screentime and it would be interesting if Lily joins the Blue Rose and ends up helping Charlotte Roselei to finally admit her feelings for Yami since the whole all-female Magic Knight squad were all shippers and had relationships with men off-duty much to the shock of Roselei and Sol Marron, lol.

It seems that we have the Brown Wolves, a Magic Knight squad composed of our friendly neighborhood Fairy Tail Mages from the core members of the Guild and I was kinda expecting that they would have named their Magic Knight squad after their Guild or something to remember their home in Fiore. And they are led by Gildarts Clive, which means Julius hits the jackpot of having Fairy Tail's Guild Ace as Magic Knight Captain who can easily crush armies of powerful Mages invading or attacking Clover Kingdom and obliterates any Magic attack in his path.

And that it looked like the Tenrou Team were transported to Clover Kingdom after Acnologia blew up Tenrou Island probably thanks to the intervention of Mavis Vermillion I believed and were taken in by Wizard King Julius Novachrona to give them a place to stay and become the 10th Magic Knight squad since he did the same for Yami Sukehiro in the past.

Which unfortunately means that the core members of Fairy Tail would be in Clover Kingdom for 7 years as their Guild fell from grace and Sabertooth rose up as the new #1 Guild in Fiore, and I was expecting that they would want to find their way back home and also establish contact and relations between Clover Kingdom and Fiore Kingdom.

Of course, I believe the Brown Wolves would be the most oddest among the Magic Knight squads including even the Black Bulls of all people in the Clover Kingdom because none of its members have Grimoires of their own and to the eyes of the people of Black Clover world, it's absurd and bizarre that there are a group of powerful Mages who do not need Grimoires which allow their users to cast specific spells that are far in advance of their own natural Magical abilities as Magic Knights.

Heck even Asta, the guy who has no Magic in his body since he was born, has his own Grimoire of Anti-Magic, and that's his silver lining.

Same goes for Shard too as well since he uses Black Dragon Slayer Magic that eats Magic in his path and it's a good thing Brown Wolves are not being discriminating to him just because he may be related to Acnologia and accept him as one of their own.

Don't forget that most Mages in Black Clover are lacking in the physical strength department due to focusing more on their Magical power, rendering them vulnerable to melee combat and got rekt as a result. While Mages in Fairy Tail are in fact shown to be fearsome melee fighters, even specializing in such form of combat with physical strength and Magical power at the same time.

Since I noticed Mirajane and assumed she still possessed Satan Soul, would that be a very complicated issue for her since there are Devils in Black Clover series who are known to be powerful, malevolent and capable to sow ruin and misery upon humans?

Plus, there is Zagred the Word Soul Devil, the perpetrator behind the Elves' massacre and reincarnation so he can regain his physical body and wreak chaos upon Clover Kingdom with his demonic powers, and he would want Mirajane dead or converted into his side due to her dangerous Magic that Takes Over on Devils and she might do the same to him.

And that there is Damnatio and the extremely biased and bigoted Magic Parliament filled with nobles even worse than the nobles in the Magic Knights who would condemn Mirajane for being a Devil possessor and want her executed. I mean, they scapegoated Asta for being behind the Elves' rampage on Clover Kingdom which it was Zagred who's been slain by the Anti-Magic Magic Knight and it took the intervention of Wizard King Julius to have the Black Bulls exiled from the country to investigate the Devils and clear Asta's name.

And not to mention, the Dark Triad of the Spade Kingdom who have three Devils they have possessed within their bodies. If they hear about a Satan Soul Mage who have several Demons at her disposal from Clover Kingdom, Dante, Vanica and Zenon along with their Devils: Lucifero, Megicula and Zenon's Devil would want to capture Mirajane and see what makes her tick with her Take Over Magic and harness it for the glory of Spade Kingdom they tyrannically rule over.

That would be very bad and scary since the Dark Triad are also looking for Arcane Stage Mages, individuals whose Magics that defies standard conventions such as Yami's Dark Magic, Secre's corrupted Sealing Magic, Asta's Anti-Magic, Vanessa Enoteca's Thread Magic, and William Vangeance's World Tree Magic for example, and wanted to capture for their nefarious purposes.

On the other hand, it seems that in his first mission at Ishmalt Village Shard has encountered Diabolos, a Guild of Dragon Slayers from Giltena and they are here to slay Dragons and consume them. And apparently they are looking for Shard so they can kill him and eat his Dragon Slayer Magic of his father Acnologia. I wonder where is Madmole, the Armor Dragon Slayer? Because he is always there with Skullion Raider and Kyria and I would like to see him in this story, please.

You know I'm confused about Rider's Magic. Dragon Rider is just a name of the Mecha Dorma Anim in Edolas. On the other hand, I see that there is an Earth Land version of Dorma Anim and he was the teacher of Rider who killed and ate his flesh to become more powerful and joined Diabolos.

Would it be more preferable if I give Rider a revised backstory and abilities in case you are interested and needed a rewrite? What if Rider was raised by Dorma Anim like a son to him and taught him Metal Dragon Slayer Magic as a First Generation but was captured by the Giltena Magic Council MИP and experimented on to become a Machias Cyborg, humans with mechanical enhancements on their bodies and Magic.

Their purpose for Rider is to become the unstoppable Dragon Slayer under their control so not only the Giltena Magic Council MИP can get rid of the Five Dragon Gods in Giltena but also defeat Diabolos whom they see as hoarding all of the Dragon Slayers in one Guild and wanted all of them under their regulation.

It nearly drove Rider insane from the invasive surgeries and hellish training on his body, mind and soul under their captivity but his father Dorma Anim came to rescue his adopted son and wreaked havoc on the Giltena Magic Council MИP. Unfortunately, during the escape in the air, their airship fleet have fired their Uranus Cannons and mortally wounded Earth Land Dorma Anim. It did not deter the Earth Land version of the Dragon Rider Mech and he used the last of his strength to fire a powerful roar attack that annihilated the entire Giltena Council fleet into smoldering ruins.

In Dorma Anim's dying moments after crash landing but ensured his adopted son is safe, he tells a grieving Rider to kill him and consume his flesh so he can live and grow stronger and walk his own path. A tearful Rider granted his adoptive father's wish and became a Fifth Generation Dragon Slayer. Later on, the young boy had to get used to his Machias Cyborg implants in his body and Magic until he encounters Madmole, since he is a polite and nice guy with a very approachable nature, who learns he is a Dragon Eater and his past whom he sympathizes before offering Rider to join Diabolos and the son of Dorma Anim accepts.

Despite the ominous reputation of Diabolos, the Dragon Eaters do treat each other as family in their own way and are willing to look out for each other since we know Fifth Generation Dragon Force is so dangerous they don't want their friends to use it at great cost. As for Rider, he gets along fine with everyone in the Dragon Slayers-only Guild especially Wraith the Ghost Dragon Slayer and Nebal the Sticky Dragon Slayer too as well, and he is very loyal to Diabolos due to the bonds.

What do you think of the revision? Hope you like the Metal Dragon Slayer Magic because it makes sense how Rider creates missiles from his back thanks to his Machias Cyborg enhancements and can literally make his whole body and Dragon Slayer Magic as a walking tank that even Wall Eehto would feel inadequate, lol.

Anyways, this is a really awesome Black Clover x Fairy Tail crossover and I'll be looking forward for the next chapter. Faved and Followed. :D
