I like the direction you are taking this regarding FT Family &a agreeing with you with some points, But still hoping to Fairy Tail is a Family Ending and getting back together. Tough 2... Natsu better get off from the small High horse he is sitting on currently. While I understand that seeing their Family breaking away to separate directions hurt, Natsu is somewhat acting little hypocrite when he was going to leave on his own before Lucy stopped him, just like in Canon. He has right to be hurt, But act like they killed Igneel, not contacting anyone & not inviting them to Wedding? Somewhat Childish. Especially when you take Realistic point into account.

While FT & will be a Family, they still are adult Wizards that needed to earn income to live normal life (as normal as FT Wizards can I mean ) and Makarov disbanded the Guild. They needed to find jobs, & while they might have tried stay together there were too many of them . And Erza was Not ready to take title of a Master, so making the new Guild was out too. Especially because this was just after Tartaros arc.

Tough understand that he is gross towards Wendy if he did invite her and she still chose to go different way. But understand her POW as well.

I understand both sides feelings but find it somewhat annoying that Natsu acts like he and Lucy were right and rest of the Family were Traitors for leaving and living their own lifes.

While it is understandable that Natsu acting as if they they betrayed him is dumb of him,Erza, Levy,Juvia and Gray having expectations of not being invited to the wedding,yet not bothering to keep in contact with them or even bother to visit them. This just shows that both took the right decision of not contacting them since their friends did not bother to visit or keep in touch, especially Erza who seems to believe that Iggy is some kind of prize that she was not allowed to watch over. Also Gray acts as if Natsu is a idiot, when him acted like a idiot himsealf by telling him that he becomed a man and when he said that he is glad that Iggy did not get his father hair. In other words, his friends becomed hypocrytes and idiots.
To the author:
Have Natsu spar with Erza and have him argue with her of why did she not bother to visit or keep in touch with them.
