I feel like this probably happened before it shows them in the anime. That's why they're so close. They are so cute, if it doesn't happen I will cry.

In a video game Hange is describing the important men in her life. When Hange gets to Levi, Hange says they're the closest person to them and that feel the same way and tell Hange everything. There are more levihan moments in the manga then in the anime. Especially if we're talking about the junior high one. The best one in my opinion is their telepathy in one of the newer chapters. I don't want to say too much because of spoilers, but the anime did cut out a bunch of Levihan moments. Or at least watered it down a lot.
