I just got done reading the first chapter and honestly, i hope the rest of the story is as good as this!

I absolutely love this story..can't wait to see Troy and Gabi fall head over heals for each other..maybe they already have..they are so adorable together..few of my fav 80s music..hungry eyes, footloose, flash dance what a feeling etc.. update soon!

Ryan was having a melt down because the band was delayed because they got a flat. He didn't know what to do, but at last! Karaoke won out! He was able to get the wildcats to do some singing while the real band fixed their flat tire.

It was sweet reading how they were singing and most of all they were dressed like in the 80's. What a great reunion. Every one got to dress up in their favorite 80's character/band! Now, that is a reunion.

Troy and Gabby got to sing together! It was magical. Neither sang since they sang together in high school! AWWW!

I think Gabriella is well characterized here, in HSM3 her first instinct when she was about to get hurt was also to withdraw. And for an awkward new first day this was perfect :)

Troy asked Gabby are out to dinner. It was cute how Troy wasn't sure to ask her, but he kept deleting the text til finally sent it. I liked how his mother knew what was troubling him. Sound advice from her, just ask her out. He sent the text to dinner. Lo and behold, Gabby accepted the invitation to dinner.

Sharpay knew Ryan wanted to ask about Troy. She doesn't love him. She is happy that she has someone in LA who she can talk to, but there is no romance between the two of them. She was able to answer Ryan question about Troy's status in a round about way that he is singled. LOL!

They talked, but there is an underlying current between them that is not being answered. Both of them are looking, but is it the right place. You naming this chapter, "What I've Been Looking For," was spot on!

Troy and Gabriella are still so cute! She still has such an effect on him after so much time, which really speaks to how strong their connection is. Even if they've fallen apart, there's still something really deep and special between them...here's hoping they can get it back! Keep up the good work!

The reunion is underway! I liked how each of them are catching up on their lives. I was surprised what Troy did. I like it! Gabby was impressed with it.

They talked! Troy told her about his knee and what he should have done to get it better. He wasn't a model patient. Gabby listened and understood how Troy could get frustatred with the wait. What was interesting how he looked at Gabby. He said, "I didn't put the effort. I didn't try hard enough." It had a double meaning to it. Gabby knew it was directed at their relationship. There is hope still. Gabby feels it.

Cute how Martha and Jason are a couple with children. I always pictured they would be the first to start a family not so much Taylor, but their lives are different than in high school.
