The Paladins' are still doing the whole universe saving thing though, Aren't they?

It still follows the show Legendary Defender, but it has (intensified) elements' from
Final Fantasy XV or,

It is somehow, self-contained within the FFXV world, merely
replacing FFXV character's with those from Voltron Legendary Defender?

OH...HECK yes!
I'll admit; I am not the hugest fan of Final Fantasy, but I feel that you have blended it with the Voltron-verse quite well. (The fact that this story has Kallura and Pidgance helps, of course)

I am VERY interested to see how this blade being passed through up until Keith's generation will affect the story...beyond Lance and others making the obvious 'compensating for something' joke; I a looking forward to seeing a Paladin wield a BFS on top of piloting a Lion.

Keep up the grand work and update whenever you can, but no rush
