Reviews for Falling for the One Who Always Counted
Penelope Chestnut chapter 7 . 2/5
It's always fun to have Sherlock be oblivious about something lol. And it's so sweet that he and John will be fathers at the same. I imagine their kids being best friends as well.

And about your name change I think you can just keep the name people are used to.
Penelope Chestnut chapter 6 . 2/5
Yes, Sherlock's conversation with his parents was funny! I also liked the conversation between John and Sherlock. It IS weird how people don't think it's possible to be best friends and share an apartment without there being anything sexual about it. They're best friends, entirely platonic best friends.
Penelope Chestnut chapter 5 . 2/5
Sherlock was beaten for a long time it seems and it can't have been any unbeaten place on his back after that. Naturally it would take some time for it to heal.

I think that it would be tough to see what Sherlock had been through, seeing how much she cares about him.
Penelope Chestnut chapter 4 . 2/2
I never noticed Mary's absent engagement ring. That is a bit odd.

Maybe Mycroft and Sherlock will have a talk about Molly's fake boyfriend. Little brother will ask big brother what is going on.
Penelope Chestnut chapter 3 . 2/2
Mycroft and Molly really grew close in this chapter. That was a nice touch.

The next chapter will be about the joy of redemption and jealousy naturally.
Penelope Chestnut chapter 2 . 2/2
It could have been a bit if a pain for them to wait for each other for that long. Especially when Molly didn't know exactly how long it would take Sherlock to come back. The one-four-three thing is supercute! Sherlock wasn't the kind of person to stay in touch at that moment in time, and I think Molly tried to move on not knowing if Sherlock would come back. An alternate timeline where they did stay in touch and Molly waited could have been sweeter than them not staying in touch if it wasn't to painful for them to wait. I guess I don't want them to be in too much pain.
Penelope Chestnut chapter 1 . 2/2
Sherlock really depends on Molly for faking his death. I like that you show how he absolutely couldn't have done it without her. Either Sherlock must have had some knowledge about the bible to be able to know about Lazarus and how he was resurrected from the dead, or Molly helped him name that scenario.
ninewood chapter 7 . 7/31/2019
I am so glad I'm catching up on the older stories. This one was so cute.
seaking72 chapter 4 . 7/8/2019
It made me wonder at first why Molly wouldn't just take the ring off once she knew Sherlock was home...but I understand why you'd keep it to keep more true to show canon.
seaking72 chapter 3 . 7/8/2019
I totally LOVE the idea of Mycroft and Molly becoming friends. If anyone could be a friend to Mycroft it would be Molly. And I could totally see her becoming special to him - that he'd be very protective of her and truly come to love her as a sister. I think he would see the great value of what she did for Sherlock not just in saving his life - but what she contributes to his person.
seaking72 chapter 2 . 7/8/2019
I love the whole code thing. I agree with you - if there had been contact I don't think Molly would've moved on...maybe...even with contact there was no guarantee when or if he'd be back.
seaking72 chapter 1 . 7/8/2019
I love the "behind the scenes" and "in between the scenes" explorations. You know there had to be conversations, plans, and the like. I think anything more than friendship is of course off show canon but I like to explore it nonetheless. (Isn't that the whole point of an AU? So long as it's believable and in character I don't mind it)
It always amazes me how Biblical allusions pop up in literature and film (be it TV or movie). It permeates the world we live in whether people are fully aware of it or not. It struck me when I watched the show that they would use the reference. "Operation Resurrection" would've made more sense as the general populace might have more of a clue...but there are all kinds of people who'd have no idea who Lazarus was.
Lena-Unknown chapter 7 . 6/25/2019
A really sweet little story. It was great how caring Mycroft was and to see how he developed a friendship with Molly. Sherlock was totally sweet, not his normal self, but who knows how someone acts in love... The end was totally wonderful. Would be interesting to see how Sherlock would handle this experience...
Aslan's Princess chapter 7 . 3/27/2019
I loved the little extra twist. Rosie is going to have a little playmate almost exactly her age. Aw!

I think that every once in a while, it's forgotten that this version of Holmes occasionally misses something in his deductions. Nice to see him miss that. I started to wonder if Molly would also be having a baby.

I am curious now, what was your old username?
Aslan's Princess chapter 6 . 3/27/2019
Loved this chapter, and totally agree on the pairing front. It's like no friendship is safe anymore. Sometimes I think that a sibling-like friendship is cooler than a romantic one, and part of that could be because it's becoming so rare.

Looking forward to this double wedding. :-)
