Great chapter! I kinda wish I could have watched that fight in anime form, even if just for the final missed punch to see Hachi pass-out standing up.

I had no idea how much I wanted a Yui-perspective chapter until we got one.

Thanks for the update! Really enjoyed getting to see Yui's perspective on things, it's definitely been interesting to see how other characters view the same events.

My first impression of this.

Brilliant, just brilliant.

The prose is great, the premise is great, the MC is a sarcastic asshole, and he's funny. I don't know this My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU fandom, but if this MC guy is a character from it, I guess I'm going to look for it and see how it goes. I laughed quite a bit, and those last few lines killed me!

Personally, I think his outlook on My Hero society is wrong, but it is well-written, convincing, funny and it is his opinion, so my own doesn't matter!

I hope sometime down the line All Might starts thinking he is the devil or something because of All-For-One flashbacks and all that.

Now, all that's left is for me to congratulate you on this chapter and do my best to binge-read it!

Damn, that ending, I have a question though, if OFA could be copied, and he did, did he copy the other quirks that OFA has too? if so, were they copied as 1 or did they use other "slots"?

From the moment I picked this up, I knew you're a beast of a writer but now I'm convinced. You handle multiple POVs brilliantly. Right from the sentence structure to the word length of each and every sentence to even the length and spacing between paragraphs. Each and everything in this chapter is tailored towards showing the difference in perspective. It's almost like someone else entirely wrote this.

Once again I love the way you're presenting multiple schools of thought as to the events occurring here. While I disagree with what Yuigahama has to say towards the end, I'd expect no less from the actual Yuigahama so good job to that end.

Kinda sucks that I waited this long to see Hachiman lose but it was handled pretty well and in a manner that doesn't undersell his power and potential as a hero, so overall I'm pretty happy with how it panned out. Besides, makes sense that the one to beat him is my boi Bakugo lol so no complaints there.

One of my legit fears however is that his power will start to taper off the later this story goes because his need to stockpile and refill, so I hope he can devise a new technique or 'train' (as Bakugo mentions) his quirk in that manner.

In any case hope you're doing fine with all this Corona nonsense (real life comes first) and I can't wait for the next chapter of what I rate as easily one of the top 3 BNHA fics on this website.

Hi, I'm glad you uploaded the chapter. I was looking forward to it. The chapter has good and bad things. I must admit that it is the chapter that I liked least.

Not because it's Yui's POV, but the advance in the story. I know that others pointed out how Yui defends Yukino and she does not differentiate between giving everything and betraying a previously agreed plan (just as Shoto said that he would not follow the plan if he has no advantage). These are hormonal and idealistic teenagers. Yui is not idealistic but is not cold-minded to think that this was somewhat justified by the circumstances of the moment. That she just defends them I don't like.

Then there is the fact that she do not speak of Toga. Is she traumatized and blocked her mind? That scene marked the group HEARTS in a permanent way, including Kacchan and that we do not see the point of view of Yui, I feel it as a lost opportunity.
Another fact is how the fight was narrated. With Hayama it was narrated completely and here there were only 3 paragraphs. Was not narrated because she had her eyes closed ?. Yui's reaction from the end of the fight was very light compared to how it started. And that in the end, 8man should be like a small-might if I understand correctly.

The outcome of the cliffhanger (which was great) was "MEH", I can't say it any other way.

It also has good points. Know why she enter the UA, add Sagami (I want to know how you will use her in the story, since there are many characters), that she tries hard enough to get hurt by using her quirk and keep fighting. All of that added good points to Yui than just being a good girl.
I apologize for the long bad things compared to the good things but I had to explain why I didn't really like this chapter.

I read all of Oregai's light novels and am fond of the characters (Don't use Iroha, my heart can't stand it she doesn't say "sempai" to 8man).
Now to wait for the next chapter. I want to know that you will write about Kacchan winning by luck (he raised a flag before fighting, it is Kacchan's fault). They both struggled but can't compare 8man's fatigue with Kacchan's tired arms from his fight against Kirishima (8man fought Shoto, that fatigued him in many ways).

Eh... kinda boring to be honest. Wait basically 5 months for a new chapter, except it’s a filler, and I’m completely disappointed at the ending of their fight. I’d assumed that they would have ended in a tie, with Bakugo being sent out of the ring, while Hachiman collapsed at the same time. I’d also assumed that Hachiman was in much worse condition by the description you gave in the previous chapter. I thought by the way he was forcing his body to move with One For All, while describing something was off, that his body would be breaking down, and we would be able to see how his classmates reacted at him killing himself without him noticing. Maybe we would have seen something cool, like how his body would show similar backlash to Midoriya, which could cause some doubt in him, or even All Might that their quirk is actually able to be copied or not.

For a moment I feel bad because I had a Bakubaku moment. I cannot recall who Tobechi was...all I can think of is 'Extra'. hahaha.

First of all, thanks for this chapter. Totally made me excited when I was notified that a new chapter was up!. Yay. And then I was kinda mad because we got an interlude...kinda. Been really wanting to see the result of Hikki/Bakubaku's fight. Hahaha... you're mean.

But, this is a good chapter, and now we got Yui's inner voice. Yay! I think occasional interlude chapter like this was brilliant. Kudos to you.

Aww... Hikki lost. I had almost wish Bakugou was blasted outring by Hikki's missed punch. Oh well... it really was a good fight. And this way Hikki doesn't have to face Orimoto. (Please don't let Orimoto win the tourney. Monomo would've been unbearable if class B win).
